Should I drop D. Washington? WHIR (1 Viewer)

PPR, 12 team, 2RB/2WR/1flex

RB: McCoy, L. Murray, J. Stewart, Dixon, Riddick, Dwayne Washington

WR: Ju. Jones, M. Jones, Cooks, Cruz

TE: Walker, Fleener

DEF: NE

Should I drop Washington for any of the following in no specific order or is he a "hold"?

  1. Derrick Henry
  2. Zach Ertz (and then I'd drop Fleener for someone else)
  3. Michael Thomas
  4. Philip Dorsett
  5. Philadelphia D/ST
  6. Bilal Powell

Thanks for your response to my question. Hopefully some news regarding Washington's injury comes out soon so you have a more definitive answer but I think they WANT to use him if he's healthy. Otherwise, I would drop Washington for Henry or Dorsett. Henry's going to be your lottery ticket and Dorsett will be a good WR during the bye weeks and as long as Moncrief is out - although I'd like to see him get more targets. I would bump Bilal Powell as up as Forte may be dealing with an injury (had to have X-rays yesterday) and being in a PPR league only boosts his value.

Thanks 4 the reply...I would say wait on Washington diagnosis, but if he can't go, I'd go with Powell

Don't know much about D Washington but you helped me so I'll say that I would certainly drop Fleener for Ertz, and I say this as a Saints fan. I also wouldn't want Thomas except as a stash for a Cooks or Snead major injury. Unless the player is named Colston, Graham or Cooks, you're typically chasing your tail with saints receivers. They'll get 25 on your bench one week then you start them and you get 3. I never draft Saints pass catchers for that reason. Thomas was the guy this week, Snead the week before. I wouldn't go chasing those rainbows**.

** Though I think there's a strong chance  Thomas becomes the #1 target next year... but not yet.
