No. Going to be a total bummer. No way are you going to get good food. They're gonna serve some free-range carrots or something that have never been handled by slave labor or some crap like that. In other words, boring. You're not going to get a decent steak or dine on something exotic like panda meat or rotisserie bald eagle with that guy.

Yes, but brown bag your own food. While everyone else is eating crap, you whip out a burger and fries and go to town.

Man, Thomas, you've lost a lot of weight since those hearings. And have you had some work done? That hair looks almost real.

If they have any experience fund-raising they know what to serve, regardless of the cause.

They also know how to shake down the people who show up. Be prepared to drop $1000 on this free dinner.

 sure why not?
vs Bruins that night
I voted yes tentatively, but where's the dinner (maybe just describe the restaurant if you don't want to name the place) and who're the Bruins playing?

Also if you go you should drink heavily and ask provocative questions, like what to do about human rights violations by Putin, Syria and Iran. If you go, get loaded and have fun. If you can't do that go see the Bruins and forget about the world's troubles for a while.

Sounds awful. Fundraiser dinners almost always suck. In fact, most formal dinners of more than just your friends suck.
