Should Indy trade for Michael Boulware? (1 Viewer)

Here are the facts:

Seattle has signed Deion Grant and Brian Russel to play safety. They also have Michael Green coming back from injury. Seattle benched Boulware in favor of Jordon Babineaux. Boulware played LB in college and ran something like a 4.47 40. Boulware has 2 years remaining on his contract just over $ 500,000 per season.

Indy just lost Cato June to Tampa in free agency. I think Boulware might be excellent candidate to replace June at WLB.

If Seattle is not going to use him why don't they get something for him. I wonder if Indy could get him for a third rounder?

Interesting thought.Boulware seems to have regressed both as a tackler and in coverage over the past two seasons, though, so he may not be the best fit as a Tampa-2 OLB.

As a Boulware owner, I would like to see this, actually just like to see him get out of Seattle.

Like Jene said, he has regressed. For what ever reason, he doesn't look like the same player he did late in 2004, when he appeared to be the next star at SS.

Boulware wasn't considered a great tackler coming out of college or known for his great work habits, this should be a concern for all Boulware owners. I do think he has the coverage ability for a will role in Cover-2. Hopefully some homers will chime in and give a some insight.
