Should the Vikings lose the Superbowl (1 Viewer)

Would it be the saddest end to the greatest career in professional football history?

If the Vikings were to make it to the Super Bowl... wouldn't it be a great accomplishment for a dying NFL career?

The only way that it could be a disappointing end is if the Vikes get the bye but lose their first playoff game. You can argue that a loss in the AFCC would be disappointing but I still think it's huge accomplishment to get there. Having a great regular season and not even winning a single playoff game means nothing.

As someone who can't stand Brett Favre i'd be willing to have him win the Super Bowl if the cost was a career-ending injury on the final play of that game. I don't trust him to retire if he wins. He would need to be unable to come back.

The Vikings making it to the AFCC would definitely be a huge accomplishment. Unprecedented even... :excited:

He's rolling.

Considering he will be back next year, probably not.
No doubt. Why quit when you're a top 5 QB?
He quit on Green Bay when he was. Why would this be different?
Because Lord Favre has found a team that will kowtow to him from the top down. He can skip all of training camp and they don't care. And honestly if they win the SB, they look pretty good doing it.
I was angry that he skipped training camp too. But let's be real here, apart from his performance in the first two weeks, does it look like he needed it? The only game the Vikes lost this year they were still in it but for some crazy good turnover-return for TDs.
