This is probably my wife's favorite band.  She had some medical issues a while back, and she has said that listening to them helped her get through it. We saw them live last year, and we happened to park near the ban'd bus.  On the way to the car ran into their lead singer and chatted a few minutes.

For Those About to Rock We Salute You is one of those cassettes I wore out on my walkman doing my paper route.  

This album is where I realized I do not like AC/DC.  In jr hi everybody LOVED Black in Black. I tried to get into them. I think I faked it for a while.  I got whatever album this is on from Columbia House.  That’s when I discovered every AC/DC song is 90% like the rest of their songs.  Pretty sure I still owe Columbia House $11.  

This whole episode pushed me to new wave/punk/whatever.

Changed my mind a dozen times on which song to pick.  This is what sounds better tonight.

LOVE early REM.  Like first 3.5 albums.  

There was an episode of IRS Cutting Edge on MTV featuring them noodling with this song.  It was like 6 months before the album came out at least.  Cutting Edge was my favorite show...I VHSed that mofo everytime it was on.  Some of my friends were freaked out that I already knew the lyrics when the album came out.
