Wide receiver Sidney Rice said he “definitely” feels like he will play against Tennessee after missing Sunday’s game because of a sprained PCL in his right knee.

“I feel pretty good,” Rice said. “Every day shows progress. I’m feeling real good.

“It’s gotten better now. I’m feeling pretty good. I went out and ran this morning. Hopefully everything will be fine come Sunday.”

Sidney Rice, WR, Vikings: Rice sprained his knee (posterior cruciate ligament or PCL) in Week 2 and sat out Week 3 as a result. He remained limited in practice this week and is listed as questionable. Rice hopes to get in the game, but with a PCL injury, he has some instability in the knee. The key for him is whether he has adequate muscular strength to compensate for the stability deficit so that he can run, jump and land effectively enough to play the position and not risk further injury. He is also likely to be a game-time decision but could see some action.

NFL.com reporter is saying from Nashville (live) that they expect to see Bobby Wade out of the slot, so sounds like Sidney is expected to go.

Sunday Update indicates that Rice is not on official inactive list. :goodposting:
"SportsNation ESPN Fantasy: Conflicting reports: The Vikings' official Web site says that Sidney Rice (knee) is actually active for Week 4. Bobby Wade is still starting in Rice's place, though, which suggests that even though Rice appears to be active, he's not going to be much -- if any -- of a factor. No change to our earlier recommendation. (11:55 a.m. ET)"

That makes more sense. I heard Mort specifically say that he was inactive too. Good to know that he's as reliable as ever.

According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, St. Paul Pioneer Press and NFL.com, Sidney Rice (knee) is active but not starting for Week 4 against the Titans. However, Chris Mortensen of ESPN reports that Rice is inactive. Rice missed last week's game with a sprained PCL and was listed as questionable, so whatever the case you'll want to find a better receiver option. Bobby Wade is starting in his place.

Okay, no longer conflicting:

SportsNation ESPN Fantasy: ESPN's John Clayton has confirmed reports that Sidney Rice is active for the Vikings. Again, you don't want Rice in your fantasy lineup. (12:17 p.m. ET)

Yet KFFL came on with a last second update that Michael Fabbiano of NFL>com says Sidney Rice will start. Stay away from this completely I guess. I just dont get why there cant be a clear statement from teh Vikings about their starters 2 hours before the game!
