TAMPA - It was a big day not only for future Bucs such as Jeremiah Trotter but for former Bucs as well Monday.
Not long after Trotter arrived in Tampa, where he was expected to sign a one-year deal with the Bucs on Monday, former Bucs defensive end Simeon Rice agreed to terms on a one-year deal with the Denver Broncos. Terms of the deal are not yet known, but Rice rejoins former Buc John Lynch on the Denver defense.
Meanwhile, former Bucs defensive tackle Ellis Wyms signed on Monday with the Seattle Seahawks. Terms of that deal are not yet known either, but it makes sense that Wyms wound up in Seattle, and not just because the Seahawks play the Bucs this weekend. Seattle’s president is former Bucs assistant general manager Tim Ruskell. Ruskell has been picking Bucs castoffs off the scrap pile for a couple years now.
