Just looking over WR's on my bench in my dynasty and was wondering what everyone thinks DJ Hackett (SEA) will do this year. He started 3 games last year and the stats were good for those games, 13 receptions in those 3 games. Do you think he can beat out Engram for the #2 spot this year?

Shick! a fellow Seahawks fan thinks very highly of him. I think if push comes to shove he'll be the #3 WR but I also think the Seahawks will add someone via free agency. If the Seahawks get Burleson or Keyshawn or someone like that he'll be the #4 to start the season but could elevate to #3 over Engram at some point. Your best bet is for the Seahawks to not sign a free agent WR but instead take one in the draft (they will add another WR somewhere) and then hope based on that they think highly of Hackett. With Warrick also in the fold I wouldn't expect Hackett to have any kind of impact fantasy wise but he will get his opportunities to climb up the depth chart and be a dynasty play in 2007. :2cents:

If the Hawks don't get another WR, then they will move Engram back to the slot. Its not necessarily who the #2 or #3 WR is, but what position they will play.Hackett would then play out wide opposite of Jackson.

I thought this exact same thing last year, but ended up pleasantly surprised with how effective they were starting Engram. I won't be surprised to see them enter the season with Engram starting opposite of Jackson.
