Situations to Exploit or Avoid (1 Viewer)

People are taking more than 2 Seattle WRs? Most leagues I'm in, only Rice and Edwards are going. SOMETIMES I see Baldwin.

I figured I would revisit this from time to time this year, so . . .

- Amendola was a PPR stud before getting hurt. It remains to be seen if anyone else will emerge in his absence.

- TSmith is ranked 11th, Boldin 11th, Flacco 9th, and Pitta 13th.

- Harvin now WR7, Rudolph currently TE7, Ponder QB16.

- Rivers has been a disappointment so far, so his receivers have suffered: Floyd WR25, Meachum 56th, and Royal 83rd.

- Colston has been great (WR3) . . . but Moore (WR27)and Henderson (WR61) have done well. Those who started the WR2 from NO each week would have had reaped the production of the WR8 (Moore was out this week, so those with Moore and Henderson could be getting very good production).

- Cutler has been a mixed bag with 3 decent games and 2 horrible ones. Marshall has been Top 4 for now. Jeffery has been so so at WR48. Davis has been mostly an after thought.

- Anyone that picked up Wayne is laughing all the way to the bank (WR1 based on PPG). The TEs haven't done a ton, but Hilton (WR41) and Avery (WR53) have been decent depth guys. Luck currently QB3 based on PPG. Brown currently RB28, but still a decent value for where he likely was drafted.

- Ridley has gotten the ball a ton (21.5 touches a game and fantasy RB3). With Vereen banged up, Bolden has made the most of his opportunities (6th in the league amonst RBs in fantasy points per touch . . . Ridley is 15th). Woodhead also in the Top 35 RBs.

- Spiller was unstoppable before he got hurt. Who knows what will happen moving forward, as the BUF defense looks horrid and the Bills may never be able to run the ball if they have to pass all day long.

- ATL players have been doing very well . . . but that doesn't mean they were worth it. Depending upon when Ryan was drafted will determine if he was worth the pick or not. He will be either a decent pick or a great one. PPG rankings: White ranked 7th, Jones ranked 15th, meaning both have been only ok picks. Tony G. has been great so far (TE1). Turner at RB16 based on PPG is about where he was getting drafted.

- Maybe Mendenhall will do well the rest of the way, but most weeks the PIT running game fantasy wise has been pretty mediocre.

- Hats off to Charles, as he's been fantastic. But Hillis has been missing in action.

- The Seahawks would not have a WR in the Top 60 if not for the joint possession call against GB.

Calvin Johnson may be the best WR in the game, but he's only WR9 based on ppg at the moment. Burleson 43rd and Young 72nd. Pettigrew 12th. Stafford 15th, RBs mostly have been so so (although Leshoure might fix that).

- QB early debate will go on the entire season.

- RBs look deeper than expected and/or some of the early RBs have been big disappointments. Based on PPG (so ignoring games missed to injury): Chris Johnson 43rd. DMC 23rd. ADP 17th. MJD 18th. Mathews 19th. Forte 20th. Murray 21st. Sproles 26th. Combine that with the topic above and taking a QB may not have been such a bad decision if you ended up with these backs.

- With Gronk and Graham banged up, other TEs injured or disappointing, there were a lot of TEs that have been doing better than the early round picks, at least for now. Miller, Chandler, Daniels, Rudolph, Bennett, Celek, Cook all in the Top 12 (for now).

Will check in again in another month or so, but for now many of these suggestions have done pretty well for the most part.
