I like Burleson as a sleep of the guys you mention, although I don't know their matchups off the top of my head. I like Crayton too, especially if Roy Williams doesn't play. I liked Robinson in preseason but with Avery back I am not sure how many looks he will get. Higgins? No. Bad offense and it isn't even clear he is a starter and he did nothing in preseason. Kelly? Maybe. Williamson? No. It is SO RARE that a WR breaks out this far into his career. If a guy has the dropsies he always has the dropsies. I will believe it when I see it with Williamson.I have some injury issues with Berrian as my #3 and was thinking of going Hixon, Burleson, or Crayton. Are you guys big on any sleeper wr's this week like L. Robinson, Higgins, Kelly, or Williamson?
This.Nicks
"Even though Seattle kept only five receivers, it does have some quality options behind Branch, currently the No. 3 guy, in rookie Deon Butler and Ben Obomanu. So having those guys to fill in short term for Branch could influence Mora’s decision. Here's my list in order of best plays:
Urban AZ--Just read on KFFL Boldin is having second thoughts of playing with the bad hammy this week, Beaston's banged up, this seems like a $$$$$ play.
A. Davis Hou--I don't think Walter goes this week, and anyone getting single coverage with Schaub airing it out is a good play.
Stokley Denver--Anyone think Marshall is "game ready", I see a game with no real defense, and lots of open field for Mr. Stokley. He does catch a nice short pass by the way
Harvin MN--BB is big time banged up, Chilly will show off his new toy in this game. And Favre does have a nice outside deep ball with his fixed arm(we hope) I smell a long TD to Percy in this game.
Bradley K.C.--Lets see playing at Ravens, on the road, hmmmm I smell garbage TD to Bradley, even if they have to start Mickey Mouse at QB for KC
Deon Butler SEA--This kid is the real deal, they will work him into the game plan. I see a 40 yard td for Deon against the Lams.
Murphy Raiders--Someone has to catch a TD for Oakland, 30 yards and a TD
(RotoWire) After an impressive preseason that included four deep completions - three of which went for touchdowns - Nicks will apparently be an integral part of the Giants' offense this weekend, the Newark Star-Ledger reports. "He's playing it right now," coach Tom Coughlin said when asked at what point Nicks will play a "major role" in the offense. "He's involved right now in everything we're doing. We basically have four guys that will do a lot of rotating and a lot of playing."(KFFL) Mike Garafolo, of the Star-Ledger, reports New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin said the Giants will rotate four wide receivers during their Week 1 game. WRs Domenik Hixon, Steven Smith, Mario Manningham and Hakeem Nicks will be part of the rotation.I don't get the Nicks love...with S. Smith, Hixon, Manningham and THEN Nicks...he will have to catch a 60 yd Td to be in the statline. Just too many mouths to feed. Similar to New Orleans.
I like Sydney Rice with Berrian likely out and Malcolm Kelly vs a suspect NYG secondary.
Jewell said:I'm not one of these huge Percy Harvin nuts you'll find on these boards, but I think he could be a good play this weekend. The Browns' defense is poo-poo, Bernard Berrian is banged-up, and Brad Childress might want to give defensive coordiantors something to think about in upcoming games. I think they try to get Harvin involved this weekend in a myriad of ways.
