Sleeper WR's (1 Viewer)

Drew BennettMay end up as the #2 WR in StL by midseason.
You make a good point. I was at the KC game a few years back when he exploded. He's had huge games in the past. Seriously how is a guy that's 5'10" going to cover him man up from the 20 yard line? Plus Bulger is probably the best pure passer Bennett has ever had. Ike ain't getting any younger and it seems his skillset would be more valuable in the slot just because of his route running and hands. Bennett can match up outside to most teams' number two corner. One of the problems with Bennett is that he was forced into the number one role and he doesn't have the elite skills to excel in that role. But he's never had anything approaching Torry Holt across from him.
St. Louis is a solid fit for Bennett. I'm a little lukewarm on his 2007 prospects simply because Bruce will probably get in the way, but Bennett is an intriguing dynasty option. He'll never be a superstar, but he's a good deep threat with underrated skills. He should make some big plays for the Rams.

Who are the top sleeper/young receivers this year? Stovall, Hackett, B. Marshall, Demetrious Williams... Why do you think so?? :rolleyes:
Don't laugh but the guy that i consider a sleeper is Troy Williamson. I am a firm believer in the 3 year rule for a young WRs and from the reports I have been reading, Troy works real hard and wants to get better. Plus he has been working on drills to improve his sight problem which should no longer be an issue. When you watch film on this guy, he gets open on a consistent basis. Someone is going to have to step up and be the #1 in Minnesota and I think Troy as just as good a chance as anyone else. Let the bashing begin.
:confused: I just came here to post this exact thing! He can probably be had with your last pick and Tarvaris has the arm to throw it deep, although I think Williamson's game is going to be crossing patterns with extra YAC. Don't sleep on him, you'll regret it!
I agree with all of the above. I don't believe anyone will draft Williamson in my league and if he is there, I plan to take him as my last pick.
i think i'd rather take a flyer on wade. i don't think this is the 1st year troy has worked hard. i don't recall his work ethic being called into play before. maybe it's just time to face facts. maybe the dude just isn't very good. it happens.

One vet that I love for PPRs (and can be obtained in the 20th round) is Bobby Engram....he is a lock for at least 3 to 5 catches in most games he plays in and he is Hass favorite target on 3rd down....all this hype for Hackett is just that.....with Jeremy Stevens gone, expect Engram to be the man on 3rd down....and he will catch every thing thrown his way. Not to mention the soft pass D in the NFC West.

That sounds like a bet in the making. You want to take Engram? I'm sure you'll find someone willing to take Hackett.PPR

TD=6

1 yard=0.1

How much you willing to wager?

Without Volek, Bennett is nothing more than a #4 WR..never seen a guy make more money off of 2-3 games from a few years ago,then Bennett is right now. this guy has health issues, and is inconsistent , at best. This team will miss Kevin Curtis

Are you suggesting Volek is better than Bulger? We'll just have to disagree there.

Also - I see ATL is mentioned. Anyone remember the "Fred Gibson is doing well in OTAs" talk a few months ago?
Gibson was cut today, which marks the third time he's been cut in his brief career. He's probably done in the NFL. I think you always have to be wary of guys who are cut by their original team without playing a season. I'm not sure any of those guys have ever gone on to successful careers.

:lol:Williamson will be drafted and as a #2 or #3 WR for their fantasty team.Do not lead guys astray. Wade has as much chance at WR #1 as TTaylor did the last 2 years.(and Taylor was the better prospect).
