Snagfilms (1 Viewer)

I just started up my Netflix streaming account again recently. I stream it from my dvd player (sometimes phone). I was checking out what other streaming services they have now. Last time I checked, I think Crackle had the most content but not enough to really look much into. This time I saw Snagfilms. They have an insane amount of content, mostly indie and documentary. I saw like 20 things I'd like to check out. I watched two movies, Desperately Seeking Seka and Heavy Metal Parking Lot.

Anyone else watch this channel?

Or whatever you call it.

It is a little sad thinking that these people put so much work into their projects and they wind up on "snagfilms" But who knows. Maybe it'll become a household name like Netflix someday.

Five years ago there would have been a zero percent chance you found a copy of Desperately Seeking Seka even at some downtown hipster video store. The filmmakers probably are happy that people are viewing their work.

That's true. That's why I hope it catches on. Some really niche stuff on there.

There is a very interesting selection of films on this site.

I think I need to check out:

Jackie Mason in 'Goldberg P.I.'

Dennis Rodman in 'Minis' (looks like a cash in job on the the late 90's Verne Troyer craze)

Abbot and Costello in 'Jack and the Beanstalk'. (in Supercolor!!! Whatever that is)

Showgirls 2

Adele: The Only Way is Up (no pun intended)

Plus an a$$load of full seasons for shows that nobody has ever heard of and probably have never been on any television channel ever. \

This is truly a channel for the person who has watched so much television that their jaded soul can only process/appreciate what is at the very bottom of the barrel.

The commercials are really annoying though. I think they only have maybe 2 or 3. The one for a show "teachers lounge" plays over and over. Hopefully they'll get more advertisers to mix it up a bit.
