Micon

Footballguy
Im in an old school league that is not run on MFL, yahoo, sportsline or any site like that. Our commish has set up a web site that shows the rosters and the weekly scores that he does by hand. Trades are done through emails and once agreed upon then the emails are forwarded to the commish and he adjusted the rosters.

So I know this guy in my league really likes the Redskins and their players. So I offer him S. Moss for J. Walker. He accepts the deal and we forward it to the commish and he puts it though.

The thing is that I only have Sinorice Moss on my roster so that is the S. Moss that he got. He is now saying that he thought he was getting Santana Moss and wants the trade reversed. I say no way and that he should have look at the rosters before making the deal and its his own fault. The commish is my friend so it will probably stand.

Also this is just a redraft

What do you guys think, should the trade be reversed?

Pretty cheezy missrepresentation on your part. But the guy should have looked at your roster.

Oh! And if that were to happen to me, I can tell you that is one person I would NEVER trade with again. Also if he makes a big enough stink, you may find it hard to find others to trade with.

Just an FYI.

I wouldn't trade with Micon, either.Who in good faith offers Sinorice for J Walker?

It is the other's guy responsibility to look at your roster and not assume. In fact, if I got that trade from you I would not have thought it sneaky, as you only have one of the Mosses. If I were commish (I am only in one league) I would put it through as I presume it is not out of the ordinary to talk about players with last names or initials. I would only overturn it if I knew for a fact that you did this on purpose.

A separate issue is your own ability to look yourself in the mirror when you did this intentionally.
