Sneaky WR plays this week? (1 Viewer)

Since I own Bowe in every league (been frustrating for sure) I'm in need of some sneaky WR plays.

This week I'm going with Kevin Walter as Houston will gash the Tennesee secondary and with Finnegan back and Daniels out I think Walter is almost a lock for 90 yds and 75% chance of a TD.

I like the Walter call as well. I put him in my lineup yesterday over TJ Housh. I think that 75 yards and .5 TDs are in order.

I just posted a WDIS question in the other forum page which surrounds Walter because I currently have him starting over several other decent players I have rostered. Do you think he will get more targets than say, Hakeem Nicks or James Casey?

Over Housh? Really? What about Mushy Pork this week? Smith dinged and on a short week...

Also thoughts on Maclin? Chicago Secondary let Kurt Warner burn them for 5 TDs. Seems like he's likely to score one and get 100 yds this week also.

Yeah, going out on a limb. Not too much confidence win TJ to put together back to back games. I'm taking a chance here, we'll see how if pays off come Tuesday.

What about TO? Hes had two semi-decent games in the last two weeks and faces a horrendous Jacksonville defense (his third easy matchup in a row).

Whoever starts at WR in St. Louis. Donnie Avery might be on the waiver wire in smaller leagues, and Brandon Gibson (newly named starter) is probably available even in the largest leagues. Sunday's game could be quite the shootout.

Brandon Gibson in PPR leagues. Really good shot at 6+ receptions. Arizona probably allows a garbage TD or two as well.
 I hope.I am going with him since Bowe is out. All I need is an OK game out of him. Going to be tough sledding now without Brown and Bowe, so I hope he has a little Gado/Dayne finishing ability in him. I need a little luck this year. His schedule the rest of the year is very good and St. Louis will undoubtedly need to pass, so in PPR leagues, I do agree that he could be solid.

It's a desperate reach, but Maurice Stovall has been Freeman's favorite target, Saints pass D gave up 300yds to the Rams last week.

what about Nate Washington? with TEN's resurgence and vince young finding him in the end zone twice in his past 3 starts, they may need to throw a lot to keep up with HOU.

I'd be hardpressed to start any TEN WR given the inconsistency Young plays with. The defense is stepping up and it's anyone's guess who will be Young's favorite target on Monday.

Laverneous Coles anyone? With Nnamdi on OchoCinco and Henry gone, seems like Coles could be up for a big game

But doesn't Nnamdi stay on 1 side of the field? I would assume that they would move Ochocinco around to keep away from the coverage.

I like the Walter suggestion. Houston has a schedule that will favor the pass, and this may be the beginning of a decent streak for Kevin Walter.

Stovall's not a bad shot to take, but Freeman's favorite target has been Winslow. With the Saints' pass rush, he may not have much time to let anything more than the short stuff develop. To me, that screams "advantage Winslow" this week.
