That's not entirely true and you know that. It's a new era of football. All of the good young QBs have the ability to run and throw. Hurts is no different. The Brady/Manning type QBs don't exist anymore.Exactly.Running QB doing running QB things107 passer rating, 68% completion rate.Yeah, I know. They only had 3 plays. That's what running QBs do. They run on most of the plays. He ran twice.Of course. That's what running QBs do - call their number on most plays, most of the time. Because they can't pass.Hurts 2 rushes for 52 yds already. sheesh
Have you actually seen him pass the ball this year? I'm guessing no because he's actually been a very good passer this year.
Calling their number is what they do. He'll get hurt - it's also what hey do.
After literally announcing that they’d be “1A & 1B”.Some yeah…not as if Jones has been bad though. Seemed a missed opportunity in philosophy by the GB coaching staff IMO.Oh what could have been this year with Dillon.
very hindsight there. they make that over 90% of the timeJust should have punted that
Your premise appears to be that Hurts is a "running QB" that can't throw. That's simply not true. There were stats posted earlier in this thread refuting that. If you want to ignore it, that's on you. Obviously QBs who can run and throw are ideal. I'm not sure what we're arguing about here. That's not entirely true and you know that. It's a new era of football. All of the good young QBs have the ability to run and throw. Hurts is no different. Sure, the running QB burns twice as bright but lasts half as long - if that. That's fine. I'm just saying running QBs have a very short shelf life. And there is a reason they run - it's because they're not very good passers. Once their legs can't help them anymore they get exposed. You can set your watch to it.
It's a fad that should have ended long ago. Of course, it's excellent for FF purposes.
Meh I didn't like it. Eagles have shown dominance in the early parts of the game. No reason to give GB a spark there.very hindsight there. they make that over 90% of the timeJust should have punted that
Was it…seemed clear it was short. Probably could have called a false start or illegal snap.bad spot
I'm not so sure about that. I think those numbers are deceptive because teams have to worry about him running so they gear their DEF to that. When his legs can't save him anymore is when you'll see how good he really is at passing.Your premise appears to be that Hurts is a "running QB" that can't throw. That's simply not true. He laid a huge hit, and IMO either dislocated his shoulder, jammed his shoulder, or hurt his AC joint.Bizarre injury to CJGJ. Can't tell what happened.
Yup he was in serious pain.He laid a huge hit, and IMO either dislocated his shoulder, jammed his shoulder, or hurt his AC joint.Bizarre injury to CJGJ. Can't tell what happened.
You can see after the hit when the adrenaline wears off and he feels it.
14-13.I've been so busy hatin' on running QBs I didn't see that the Pack just went ahead 14-10.
Are you sniffing glue?I've been so busy hatin' on running QBs I didn't see that the Pack just went ahead 14-10.
Yeah, me and yur mom just went thru a whole case. Are you sniffing glue?I've been so busy hatin' on running QBs I didn't see that the Pack just went ahead 14-10.
Why shouldn’t he? Really…why?OF course he ran again.
Even a 10% chance of failure makes it not worth the riskvery hindsight there. they make that over 90% of the timeJust should have punted that
100+ in the 1st quarter.Hurts is amazing
No offense dude but you're looking pretty awful in this thread so far.Yeah, me and yur mom just went thru a whole case. Are you sniffing glue?I've been so busy hatin' on running QBs I didn't see that the Pack just went ahead 14-10.
