ADP owner wondering if Minn still has something to play for next week vs. the Giants now that the Saints have locked up #1 seed. I know that if Philly wins at 4pm they get the #2 seed, but what seed could the Vikes fall to if they mail it in and lose next week?

I'm already distrout over the fact that NO will probably rest their starters so I won't have Colston, please don't tell me I'll be without ADP also!

The Vikings play an early game and the Eagles play a late game.

Of course they do, probably more than any NFC team.

They're floundering right now and Favre came out and said the team won't go far in the playoffs if they don't turn it around. He, and the rest of the team, need to go out and win a very winnable game IMHO to right the ship. As if momentum weren't consideration enough, they have a very legitimate shot at a bye, but must win to have that shot.

They're still 2nd in line for the bye. If Philly wins (later in the day), they get the bye. But if Dallas beats Philly (a very real possibility for obvious reasons), Minnesota gets the bye if they win.

If that's not incentive, I don't know what is.

I suggest the following (since the answer to your question has been given in posts above):1) You alter your league rules so you aren't still worried about Week 17 next year; and2) A dictionary

Besides trying to get the #2 seed, they need to play like they want to win a game. They are playing uninspired football right now. I was glad they turned it on in the 2nd half last night, which gives me a little hope, but they are looking at one and done if they don't light a fire somewhere!
