3 of my 4 $$$ Teams are still alive. I can win up to $720 in total. If any of the 3 teams win, I am guaranteed money.

Totally has inspired me to try and run 20 Teams next-year.

It's like playing a lotto ticket. Anyone got anything High Stakes this year?

Also, I'll have some more rankings and draft picks for you next year.

UPDATED (12/23)

Ended up winning $320! Outsmarted myself by starting Justin Hunter over Doug Baldwin (Hunter ended up being a healthy scratch) and it cost me an additional $300. Oh well, still a great season.

How much did everyone else who posted end up winning?

$13.500 for my 2 biggest leagues. And about $20,000 total.

Good luck to everyone but my opponents! Ha!!

ETA: mine are FFPC Draftmasters leagues. There is a link in my sig if anyone wants to step up in the future.

I am completely convinced that IF I could bear to run about 20 teams each year, I could generate a steady trickle of low-risk, likely return money of $2-$3k a year, buying into very small ($50 and less) leagues and just scraping pennies in leagues where you get rewarded for winning divisions, highest points of the week/year, and title game payouts, etc.

I would target these small apples leagues because with less invested, the competition is "probably" less, overall. Not too many people go full blown overload over $50.

But, in the end, every time I think about it, I just think it would be maddening. Almost like death by 1,000 paper cuts because even the simplest of tasks becomes excrutiatingly painful if you have to manage it over and over and over and over....

To answer the question: I think I am in line to win about $500 best case scenario at this point. THat's probably okie dokie with me.

$12,500 for 1st, 7,500 for 2nd or $2,500 for 3rd. I am one of 4 teams left vying for these prizes in a two week total points scramble in a $2,500 auction league. I already cashed for $2,500 by finishing as a top 2 seed (and got a bye into the final 4)

$0. Just bragging rights. Stopped playing for money years ago. Even when I was winning money I wasn't enjoying it. And even if it was very low stakes, losing would ruin my weekend. So when the hobby became like a job, I made some changes.

I've found that I still care about winning...but losing doesn't bother me nearly as much. The "game" is actually "fun." Good luck to everyone this week.

Would be interesting to run about 100 $50 money leagues and just let the ten second primer make your decisions for you and see how you did at the end of the season.

The next two games are worth an additional $700 each, in my main league.

Not huge, but enough to make you smile a bit when you win. If you win all 3 rounds of the playoffs (top seeds have BYEs) then you get around $2,100 (WW bids are divided among the championship game participants, so it's never an even number). If you are season points leader you win $1,000. Do both and it's a nice little pot.

I missed the high points bonus by 18 ####### points, so I'm just going for the title money.

If I win this week in 3 leagues I'm guaranteed $700 across them for making the championship. If I win the championship in all the leagues I'd win $1700.

I set my standard of Happiness at making the finals in 2 and winning it all in 1. Anything more and I'll be very happy, anything less and I'll be upset. Especially considering I have a combined 6 losses so far this season across 3 leagues.

Attaboy David, take it down.

I have a similarly-styled playoff race and prizes in a FFPC $2500 Dynasty league, and a bunch of other leagues.with $1,000 to $4,000 for first.

The league I want to win the most is the NFFC Super Auction - 14 teams. That size league is very difficult to compile a good auction team, and ultimately win. $15,000 for 1st.

$0.

I used to play in a bunch of money leagues and obsess over payouts when I was in my early to mid 20s, a decade ago. The older I get, the less the money matters. I also used to play in far too many leagues as well.

Pride in my one and only league is far more important to me than some chump change. I still study and work as hard as I ever have, just for free now.

 Can't you have pride and still get the ceesh.

Just under $500 in my primary cash league.

Already guaranteed twice my buy-in back for the 3rd straight season but I'd sure like to get more than that.

Papa needs a new iPad.

Truthfully? All of my worthwhile money leagues disbanded over the years, for one reason or another. I collected the best of the people in each and made a free league which is the most competitive league I've ever been in, more so than the $1k entry leagues I would once join.

Weirdly, I feel just as much of a rush and pressure to win in this league than the money leagues. I used to also be really into gambling and stopped, after dropping lots of cash on individual games for a few years. Maybe this free fantasy life ties into my post-gambling reformation.

Maybe.

For me personally, all the free leagues I was ever in, I never cared about. Could have been a combination of the people that were in it or the time in my life but I had little interest in them win or lose towards the end of the season. My main league has been going strong for 9 seasons now. We've only changed out about 5 people over the years but the corps 6 or 7 guys has stayed the same. I still have never won the title in this league but have finished 2nd place several times including the last 2 years in a row (to the same damn guy). So this league is what I'm all about in FF. I have one other league with a couple of work guys but I know maybe 2 people from it.

Technically $250,000 though it's a long shot to beat 1185 people (even with 8 entries left)....so your telling me there's a chance.......

I was in 80 leagues this year, 50 last year...100 next year ?

Dear tax-man, I assure you there is no real $$ involved in fantasy football. Although a game of skill (so is poker by the way but I digress) we would certainly not draw attention to ourselves by claiming cash prizes without the appropriate tax form. We virtualize our league prizes using Bud Bucks from "Raising Hope" pinned to the currency of Peteria from "Family Guy".

Allegedly.

When I said "$700" I meant that the joy I feel equates to about the same as if I had won $700. To make it easier we assign dollar values to the "joy" we feel, and then use those labels when speaking about winnings.

$400 for first, $150 for second, $50 for third. I'm in first place so far. Last year was my first year playing for money and I had no idea what I was doing. This year, I know what I'm doing and I'm doing it well. Next year, I'll be playing more than one league for sure.

$3500/$1750/$1050/$700

Already won $200 in weekly high points. Need to overcome poor games by Knowshon/Julius to get to the SB next week.

Ugh, this could fluctuate bigtime.

Did a few draft-expert league, I think 7 of them, going to win 1 and not finish in the money in any other, so basically break even there.

5 dynasty leagues (buy ins are $70, $100, $750, with a partner splitting $750 and another splitting $500). Final 4 of the $70 and a good start on thursday. Gave up a few weeks in of the $100 and am in total rebuild. Scored a lot week 14 in the $750 but failed to advance due to Mccown having the game of his life. Rebuilding in the $500 I split. Got a 1st round bye (which paid $550) and have a chance at $4,000 for first place in the $750 I am splitting, and a 2nd place finish there pretty much gets me even on all these which sucks, looked much more promising earlier in the year before several injuries to players on both the other big money leagues (Rodgers, Hernandez, Julio, Pitta, and more).

My one and only annual redraft league that I actually have to pay attention to. 15 teams, $150 buy in. All victory points, each week every team plays 15 games. Rodgers injury also hurting, but currently in first place by a coupld games. First place $1300. 2nd $600. I would be happy with 2nd, but after a nice thursday first is still doable.

Basically, so sum it all up, all these leagues and I probably break about even. Blah.

$9K

$1250

$1000

Total, $11,250

Thanks in great part to footballguys.com. Their staff, the forums, and tools all contributed.

First place is $750 smakeroos, 2nd place is $250 smakeroos. :moneybag:

Came in runner up again! I've won it 3 times, but last was in 2004.

I wanted so badly to have bragging rights for the year. Not really about the money when you play with mostly the same guys every year.

Name on the trophy and talking trash = priceless

Im at a for sure 305 right now.

$180 in one league so far...another $240 on the line tonight (20 point lead, TD only scoring and I have Gore left against his V. Davis...looking pretty good).

$125 in the other league for 2nd unless Dawson and the Niners D give me a miracle 51 points or so tonight...if the miracle happens, then Id get 375 instead.

So most likely I will end up with $545 from a $110 investment.

Out of 31 leagues I made 10 championship games but sadly only won 4 of them (lost 1 by under 2 pts). Calvin Johnson and ADP let me down, and losing Gronk made a few TE positions weak there towards the end. I also won five 3rd place games and a toilet bowl, and another toilet bowl that offers a 1.13 for next year. Anyway, won around $3200.

People here often wonder why anyone would play in that many leagues. Well your answer is....the possibility of 10 championship games. Yes, it gets way crazy and not sure I'll ever play in quite that many again.....but definitely a lot. Needless to say, yesterday was insane.

Baldwin caught one ball for 8 yards.

Had a good year. Super Bowl victories in both the leagues I play in. $1,425 and $1,750. I totally abandoned RB's and focused on having great WR's and Jimmy Graham. My #1 RB was Lamar Miller. Got lucky with Knowshon at #2.
