He looks good and is a solid #3 option on a fantasy roster. He will not be consistant all the time because against bad teams they will just pound it with their 2 rb's. I'm a fan and have him on my bench. Underrated talent.

For lack of better options on that team. He's better than when he was in Chicago but if you ranked all the starting WRs in the league, he's far down the list.

Nice game last night - and good observation by the OP, he is the best on the roster until Britt developes a bit more. Have to figure Washington will be the deep threat, Gage should do great in between the 20s.

However, he whiffed on at least two balls that were on the money. One should have been a TD (was this the possession that ended with Bironas getting blocked? think so), the other was another 3rd down throw, killed a drive.

He's been semi-productive for a WR in a run first offense, but I think his ceiling is low. If he keeps letting his team down when they need to step on big 3rd down throws, Mr. Britt is going to surpass him sooner - and he probably will later, regardless.

I like Gage, and think he has the potential to be a good spot started against weaker pass Ds. But think Britt gets his feet underneath him and becomes more of a reliable target on the field as the season progresses, taking away from Gage a little. TENN normally being a run first team also suppresses Gage's ceiling.

Definitely something to keep an eye on, though.

Hey, I will definitely admit that I missed the boat on him. I've ignored him in every single draft I was in this year (and that's been quite a few). He looked very good last night against the top defense in the NFL. I think he just might be a rising star!

There's value I guess but I refuse to start someone who missed some of the catches he did yesterday. Could be a one off or maybe a better fantasy than real life player.

Another question...curious if homers know, or anyone who is very familiar with the Titans scheme.

Do they flip flop the WRs? Can Gage play the X or the Y? What about Washington?

Just curious if there is a possibility that as Britt develops, he will supplant Nate as the deep threat. I presume that Tennessee doesn't run too many 3 receiver sets, they seem like a team that runs more 2 TE than spread formations - but just a guess based on watching a handful of games the last few years.

I figure as long as the scheme stays the same - run 4.24 and White as much as possible - there are probably only so many targets to go around for wideouts. As Washington gets healthy, does that diminish the rookies role? Or if Britt starts having an Eddie Royal/Desean Jackson -type rookie year, what would that mean to Gage? Nothing??

Dunno, need someone who follows the Titans closer than I do to weigh in with their observations.

This also doesn't take into account last year's one playoff game: 18 targets, 10 catches, 135 yards.Counting last night, his last 3 games have been 37 targets, 22 carches, 317 yards, 2 TDs.He's definitely the go to WR for the Titans.

Averaging 3 receptions per game. Note taken and filed appropriately.

I feel like we watched different games.Gage impressed me a lot Thursday night. Not only did he have 7/78/1, he was also targeted 6 other times, including:

One deep target on which Polamalu was called for pass interference (though it looked like a bad call IMO)
One Gage caught for 24 yards but was called back due to a Titans penalty
One in the end zone that might have been another TD but would have been a tough catch in traffic IMO
One he droppedSo officially I assume he'll be credited with 11 targets. Granted, this was in a game in which Cook was out, Washington was limited, and Collins threw 35 passes... not normal conditions. But most importantly, he looked good IMO.

Pitts D = overated ,Can you imagene what will happen to them when they have to face a good QB

I've seen multiple people comment about how there is no way Gage should have dropped that third down pass, but I don't think it that catchable of a ball.

When they showed the replay, you could see that the ball was thrown significantly behind Gage and he made an outstanding effort just getting his hands back to the ball.

As a huge Mizzou basketball fan, it's still hard for me to image he's playing in the NFL! ... but he was productive on the football field in college ...

 I actually thought his final yardage numbers were better than they were, based on how good he looked
