So I wanted to do some research on this quad strain ...theres apparently 3 different grades of strains. I have yet to find info on what grade Barber has but if it's anything like Steven Jacksons last year (both are simliar style bruising runners who rely heavily on their legs to move piles and drive for extra yards), Cowboys could be without Barber for a few weeks. I mean, falling down on a open touchdown doesn't look like something minor...but what do we know?

My guess is he'll be out till atleast after the bye week, which puts his return date week 7.

They face CAR, DEN at home and then @ KC before the bye and will probably feel like they can win atleast 2 if not all 3 of those games.

FELIX JONES TIME BABY! :lmao:

I nearly had a heart attack when I saw Steven Jackson..."quad strain"

Not your fault, just saying I nearly barfed.

Any idea what kind of role Tashard Choice will play? (Go figure too, as I just cut him in a deep 14-team league!)

Yea I think that approach makes the most sense. The Rams tried to rush SJax back last year after 1 week and he aggravated the injury and missed 3 more weeks after that. While it kills me to see Barber miss 3 of the easier defenses on his schedule, it makes the most sense if they want him back at 100%.

everyone's pain threshold and recovery time is different, it's hard to say. barber may recover quicker since steven jackson doesn't seem particulary durable/hardy. a friend of a friend said he's hung like a horse though, fyi.

Let's try to keep that speculation in this thread. No need to have the ####ing match between Choice v Jones owners in two threads.

 Will this make him recover faster?
