So what do you need tonight on MNF? (1 Viewer)

I need 7 points total from Chung, S Holmes, and Branch to get the win and secure #2 seed in the playoffs (and knock opponent out of the playoffs). We get 1 pt per unassisted tackle, 2 per int or safety or sack, and 6 per td for IDP. For the wrs I get .5 per recpt, 6 per td, and 3 pts at 100 yards +1 for each addl 15 yards.

So the seven points is very realistic.

Not so realistically, if those 3 outscore BJGE by 53 points I win the regular season points championship. Hmmm....that would be each wr getting 6 recpts for 145 yds and 2 tds, then I would only need 11 tackles from Chung. Oh, and BJGE would have to get shut out.

ETA - if those three don't get the 7 points, then I actually get a better matchup as I would drop to #3 seed and face the #6 seed (who is better than the #7 seed). I can't throw the matchup because - a. it is wrong, and b. it would knock a team out of the playoffs.

I need BenJarvis Green-Ellis not to run backwards.I have a 1/10 of a point lead. He's done and I have BJGE going. I've already clinched a playoff spot win or lose but can win the division and a bye if I win and the Jets defense has a huge game as they go up against the team I'm tied with. And NO, I don't plan on benching him and going with only 1 RB this week.
But if you have won already, and total points doesn't matter, the smartest play by far is to bench him and secure a victory.
But every week, there are stat corrections here and there. What if one of his other players loses a half point somehow, and by not playing BJGE, he loses? If he benches BJGE this week, then the football gods will surely smite him with a negative stat correction on Wednesday!!

I am up by 17.8. My opponent has Welker (1 PPR, 1 point for 10 yards). Win, I'm in. Lose, I'm out.

Is it too much to ask for Revis to cover Welker instead of Branch tonight??

Because Boldin went off yesterday, I need 5 points or less from my opponents RB, BGE tonight.

Win and I'm in. C'mon NYJ's run defense!!!

Talk about irony:

Friends league: sew up a playoff spot with a win- Need 11 from Hernandez

Work league: going for 10 wins in a row- winning by 7 and have Mayo versus Hernandez

obviously I would prefer Hernandez to get the 11.

In the words of Herm Edwards: "You play to win the game"
