So when did L. Arrington stop being a good player? (1 Viewer)

force = mass x acceleration...he was putting those big hits on his own body as wellalso, he was never willing to play within the reskins degfensive schemes. with marvin lewis at one point and now gregg williams running the show on D i've got to believe he could have been huge if he was smart enough to trust the coaches

Reports are that Lavar was asked to play special teams and he refused. He won't play much until he changes that type of attitude. He's putting on a good face for interviews, but I'm guessing he's not going along with things behind closed doors. Chris Clemons received PT over Lavar yesterday.

Hmmm...I wonder if Arrington is a classic "buy low" player in dynasty leagues?!?! He's only 27 years-old.
It's hard to say given that we don't fully know his health situation. I thought I read somewhere that he had his knee drained in the last 10 days or so. I happen to believe that he's a poor fit for Williams' defense (Williams' assurances that he makes his scheme fit his players, notwithstanding) but that he'd be an excellent WLB in Dungy's Cover 2. He prefers to play on instinct and flow to the ball rather than to stay strictly within the confines of an assignment, and frankly he excels at that. He probably needs a fresh start.

One thing's for sure though. This coaching staff in Washington is all about team first, and they aren't going to put up with any ego crap from him.

i'm hearing from my sources that he is not commited to the scheme the Skins are trying to implement...last week gives me hope that he has kissed and made up with the coaching staff.... hopefully we'll see big things for the 2nd half of the season
