So where does Favre go now? (1 Viewer)

Sorry to start a new Favre thread, but I read all 5 pages of the other one and didn't see a single post about where Favre should be ranked now. All kinds of talk about what Favre does for Peterson, Shiancoe, et al, but what about Favre himself? Somewhere around QB20 maybe?

At best....Farve had two big games throwing 6 TDs in one. Other than that he was horrible.I can see it now after 8 weeks and the Vikings losing.. Farve "I am tired, it is tough to prepare every week in the NFL..I may retire after this season."

He'll definitely be a spot starter. Gives us another guy who can be part of a QBBC approach this year. Try to pair him with Cutler and you got 4 games against my Lions...

NFL.com has already updated their rankings...they have him at 15 right behind Big Ben.Favre will be a GREAT candidate to draft and trade. Four of the Vikings first 5 games are a cakewalk. (Cle, Det, SF, GB, Stl)

I would rank him around QB17. I'm guessing if you really want him, he will be drafted around QB15 or round 8/9

I think if he knew he wasn't going to start because of injury or bad play, he would retire before the game, so the streak was never broken.

He'll be better than last year simply by the virtue that he gets to play against the Lions' defense twice.

It still ends when he retires (for realz) so I don't see him retiring due to injury just for the sake of the streak. If it's a season ending injury, yeah that goes without saying.

This is the way to go:Week 1: Cutler @ GB/Favre @ Cle - I go Cutler just to give Favre a week to get the feel back.

Week 2: Cutler vs Pit/Favre @ Det

Week 3: Cutler @ Sea/Favre vs SF - Both pretty nice matchups but probably Favre

Week 4: Cutler vs Det/Favre vs GB

Week 5: Favre @ StL - great matchup on Cutler's bye

Week 6: Cutler @ Atl/Favre vs Bal - First real decision here

Week 7: Cutler @ Cin/Favre @ Pit

Week 8: Cutler vs Cle/Favre @ GB - Tough call but 2 nice matchups

Week 9: Cutler vs Ari - Another great bye week matchup

Week 10: Cutler @ SF/Favre vs Det - 2 great matchups

Week 11: Cutler vs Phi/Favre vs Sea

Week 12: They play each other in Minny

Week 13: Cutler vs StL/Favre @ Ari - Either or

Week 14: Cutler vs GB/Favre vs Cin

Week 15: Cutler @ Bal/Favre @ Car - not great

Week 16: Play each other on MNF in Chicago - not great but if you're making this decision at least you're in the Show.

He got to play against the NFC and AFC West last year. 8 games.Steller against those AFC West teams too. :( Umm...not so much.QB 15 is about right. Some upside...but a spot starter at best IMO.
