So who goes off this weekend? (1 Viewer)

groin pains

So for each position, who do you see helping you get further along into the fantasy playoff season?

I like Blount. Has had two great weeks to end the season. I know its balsy going with anyone in the NE backfield, but my gut tells me he will get the majority of the touches.

Wes Welker is practicing in full. The slot receiver had great game against the Charger secondary the last time they faced.

Who are you feeling confident about to outperform??

I see Edelman having a good game this weekend. He is a big part of that offense when Gronk is out.

if were going with someone besides the main names.

ill say

Danny Woodhead

Ted Ginn

De' Rick Rogers

Doug Baldwin
With Mathews missing his third practice, Woodhead may be a good bet.

Good lord... being that it's the playoffs I haven't been as glued to the newswire. Had no idea Mathews' ankle had gotten worse. I had plugged Mathews into the 2 playoff contests I'm in. Time for a switch. :D

Thoughts on the New England backfield? Does Blount get the majority of the touches?
Yes, definitely. I think BB will play the hot hand at RB and give the ball to Blount early and often, with Ridley sprinkled in and Vereen in on passing situations. But, with heavy rain forecasted for the game, one must wonder if an early Blount fumble doesn't cause Ridley to see more carries (or vice versa). If Blount can hold onto the ball well, and the team has even moderate success running, I don't see how he doesn't go for a minimum of 100 yards and 1 TD.

Lynch, breast mode, 100 yards plus rushing and two scores.

Jimmy Graham 100 yards plus receiving and two scores in a losing effort.

Blount continues his tear with a 100 yards plus rushing and two scores.

Luck throws for 3 TD's but Patriots advance 37-34. Brady clutch as ground game pulls out the win.

Peyton Manning throws 4 TD's and 300 yards plus as Denver gets off to a quick start to avoid the Charger stall.

Moreno scores as does Ball each with a rushing TD. Denver wins 48-31.

SF - CAR battle it out 23-20 in OT. Not sure who wins...
