So who is most likely to lose his job first (1 Viewer)

Both of these guys have looked bad this year and have young, early draft picks waiting in the wings behind them (although Stanton is still injured). Does Kitna or Anderson end up benched first? I'm not sure either of these teams will have anything to play for in another 3 weeks.

Kitna's gotta be done. The team is utterly out of contention, he's not young, and they need to just move on. Atleast for Anderson an arguement can be made that he can still be their future, isn't that old, and the team is not that much of a rebuild project. All of it arguable, I know, but not as absolute as Kitna adding no value to the Lions. They actually need to get rid of damn near all reminders of Millen's tenure, sans 2 of the 12 1st round receivers they drafted. Pure garbage...

Anyone know how far away Stanton is from being ready to play?
Apparently Marinelli remarked this week that he hasn't seen enough from Stanton yet to give him a start. No link, just radio.Orlovsky's ankle is dinged up as well.Marinelli apparently still believes Kitna "gives the team the best chance to win" (as if that matters)...I think Kitna starts yet again this week, back spasms willing.

Anderson will not get the hook until Romeo gets fired. Anderson saved Romeo's job last year. Romeo has hung his hat on Anderson, not Quinn.

Kitna will not lose his job this year unless he's injured. This is coming from a person who lives in Michigan and hears Rod "Circus clown" Marinelli every week. This dude still thinks the Lions will make the playoffs.

Don't you ever tell him he is not going to make the playoffs. Ever.

Crennell will have a job whether or not his team loses this year. Losing with Quinn is just as good as losing with Anderson. We'll see Quinn fairly soon. Maybe as soon as the 2nd half of next Monday night.Marinelli will not. Millen is gone, and will be replaced with a new GM who will want to hire his own coach. Kitna will play unless injured.

Stanton missed all of last season with a knee injury. The Stanton was hurt again.

Even though Stanton has been around this is only the second week of live practice in his NFL career.

Kitna stinks, but Stanton is not nearly ready.

That being said I would rather have on the job training for Stanton than to watch Kitna anymore.

The Fords will make the call on Kitna, I think unless he can pull one out next week he is heading for the bench.
