So who lost thanks to Randy Moss (1 Viewer)

I did not but I am sure someone must have lost tonight (especially in PPR leagues) on those garbage catches that the Seahawks gave up to Moss

Anyone here?

i had lost the game because of brown...but then randy won it for me!!! won by one point on that last catch.

phew!

Our Moss owner needed two more yards. Thought he was toast when that idiot kneed Stevens in the nuts - but somehow they called personal foul on both sides, so Moss got 1 last chance. 3 straight catches in garbage/prevent time..

In two of the three leagues I play in, I was involved in a Moss Vs. DJax match up. In one league I had Moss and in the other league I had DJax. Both games were within a couple of points. The worst case scenario took place for me, as Moss had 76 yds. and DJax had 36 yards. I lost both games. Ouch!

If you're relying on Moss for consistent production at this point then it's your own fault you lost. He hasn't shown anything all year so why are you still expecting big numbers?

I doubt Moss is even a #3 receiver at this point. Didn't the Raiders make history last night by being shut out twice on MNF?

The question is posed to people playing against Moss and how the garbage points (3 catches / 38 yards) effected the outcome of your game.

Of course he is!Any #1 WR that gets 10+ targets a game is a good WR + he's a red zone target. His bad games will still be 7 for 60 etc etc etc

Ranked 31st in my 12 team PPR leagueRanked 29th in my 10 team yardage leagueHe's firmly entrenched as a WR3 in fantasy leagues

Needed 44 yards from Moss and thought I was done. Didn't deserve the win though as I mismanaged my team in the first place playing Moss over Colston ... that is not going to happen again this year.

Over the past 5 weeks he ranks 13th in WR scoring in the league where I have him. That makes him a high WR2 in 12 team leagues, or a low WR1 in a 14 teamer. Not bad for being on the team with the worst passing offense in the league.

What amazes me to no end is the playcalling in Oakland. If you KNOW that your offensive line is absolutely atrocious and you KNOW that your QB is going to get hit 2 seconds after snapping the ball and you KNOW that you have one of the best downfield threats at WR in league history, why don't they just chuck the ball up to Moss more? Seriously, they should just snap the ball, take a 3 step drop and chuck the ball deep to Moss and/or Curry. Yeah you'll probably throw some INTs that way, but if you're throwing the ball deep downfield at least you've moved the ball somewhat. That's as good as two sacks for -15 yards and a 40 yard punt.

I never played organized football, but wouldn't you need more than a three step drop to give Moss time to GET downfield for a long pass? To give more time for Moss to get downfield, you need better protection.
