So who will Champ cover this week? (1 Viewer)

every week it is the same answer - it won't change just because your favorite receiver drew the Broncos this week. ;)

Champ lines up on the left side of the defense and he will play against whichever WR is on the right side of the offense - that is often, but not always, the other team's best receiver.

Can any Pats or Broncos fans confirm as to whether Champ was the guy who covered Branch in the playoffs last year? Because Branch had 8 catches for 153 yards in the game.

DJax almost always lines up wide right. Either way, play him! You can't sit his consistancy!
hmm - I see him in the slot as much as anything..
I am not sure I see him in the slot all that much - maybe since Engram's been out, but I haven't had that much cause to watch a ton of the 'hawks this year. My memory from last year, when I owned him, was that they moved him around a lot.

He has been in the slot more often lately, but I think Levin is right, it's because Engram is sick. Regardless, the Seahawks tend to move their receivers around a lot. DJax has been in motion more often than I recall anyway, both on running plays to bring him in to block and on passes.

Even if he draws Champ on every play, anyone who sits DJax must have a pretty nice receiving corps.

I could care less about his consistency. If he's consistently lining up against Champ, he's sitting (if Colston is ready to suit up). Champ is as close to "shut down" as you can get...Not a good matchup for anyone, especially in Denver...

:goodposting: Champ is brutal to WRs - I am considering benching Jax for Berrian (have a Hass as well and scared to get shut out in a must win) - but that may be too cute! Don't think its nuts sitting him though.
