What do you see as the trend for the first round of redrafts?

Last season, all the talk was about how in redraft, 10 or 11 of the first round picks needed to be RBs, and something like 18 of the top two rounds. Then, a massive number of those running backs flamed out. So, going into 2014, what do you see as the trend?

Sup thumb, Im going RB heavy in the first 2-3 rounds. WR's are deep.

I tend to not follow the crowd, so if my leagues go heavy on RB early, I'll look elsewhere for value.

No vote.

This is my case as well, but it seems like a lot of people are laying off RBs after last season. So I voted for "Invest heavy in RBs in 2014 -because- of 2013 and you may get them at a discount". I've had some nutty mocks these past few weeks by using this strategy and had some teams I'm in love with. I'm a huge fan of going RB/RB/RB if the opportunity is there for value. That said... if I'm picking 1.05 I can see the value in trying to stream something like Calvin/Jeffery/best RB available too.

In my redraft last year, you could have Desean or Antonio Brown in 7. Ronnie Hillman and Rashard Mendenhall went in 7 as well.

I'd MUCH rather be targeting my WR2 and WR3 in 7 and 8 than chasing RBs in those spots.

Early I'm thinking

1. RB

2. RB/WR/Graham

3. RB/WR (Gronk if late?)

4. TE/RB/WR (Thomas or Davis if late)

5. TE/RB/WR (top TE if I don't have one, Cameron?)

6. QB (Kaep, Brady, Foles, Cam)

7. WR

8. WR

Give me 3 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 QB, 1 TE

Receiving RBs early. (Yes, even assuming non-PPR.) Morris and Peterson might be dropping.

TEs might be going earlier than in prior years as people seem to think they can pluck a top 5 one from the ether.

QBs will go later than most years - except Peyton.
