The tweet has since been deleted but a screen grab of it looks as though the link went to a user profile on Pornhub. The user was named, at least in part, “Rockbone.”

A Google search of “Pornhub Rockbone” turns up Pornhub users “Rockboner,” whose profile exclusively consists of gay pornography. Research!

After deleting the tweet, WREG apologized. “We apologize for a tweet that went out earlier this morning,” read a follow up tweet.

WREG also sent out another tweet that suggested the pornography link was the result of a hacked account. “Have you you changed your passwords recently? Take it from us… Do it now,” the tweet said. “Also, resist public WiFi. For real…”
