Someone Calls Your Wife An #######--What's Your Move? (1 Viewer)

This happened to my friend in Orlando last week. He pulled into a spot and his wife opened her door to exit. Apparently there was a car trying to park in the spot beside and he couldn't pull in because of her door. The other driver laid on his horn and called my friend's wife an #######.

Your move.

You get in the guy's face like a baseball manager and whisper to him 'Look, I know she's a #####. But you gotta understand I gotta get in your grill like this. Please act scared like I'm really intimidating.'

If it's my wife I grab a box of  and watch the show as he is about to learn what happens when you speak out your #ss

Back my car up... park on the line to take both spots... tell the guy he now has something to complain about.

If we're in my car, I hop out and call him a #####. If we're in her car, I just let her handle it. She's the one with a gun.

We would have to have words. I would prefer for it not to escalate since I'm a grown man and all, but somebody just isn't going to talk to my wife like that either.

Probable just laugh at the guy. People when they're mad hate when you do that. I think they expect a response that is commensurate with their mood.

"Hey **** mitten, where's the fire?"

I honestly don't know if that works there, I just like saying "**** mitten".

I assume it rhymes with rash ole.

Yeah my wife could handle this on her own and would. Frankly, I'd probably be trying to diffuse the situation.

Well, an guy made a comment of that nature about my girl on the streets of new orleans earlier this year and it took two buddies to restrain me from pounding the guy into a pulp... but I was drunk and likely reacting in a belligerent manner.

Sober and rational? I'd prob drop a "#### you, buddy" or even simply an "eat #### / move along-type" look as I got out of the car. Nothing blatantly prompting things escalating.

nothing, sticks and stones will break my bones logic

do people really still get up in arms about this kind of stuff?

The ol' "hold me back" routine when you really don't want to fight but you still want to look tough.

Sadly I wish it was the case... I was feeling no pain (had been drinking since boarding the City of New Orleans train at 7am that morning). I was in full on belligerent drunk mode. Guy made some crude comments but I overreacted bigtime.

Anyways.. moral of the story is this sorta small-potatoes crap isn't worth going to jail over.

Several years ago, my GB's brother got into a road-rage incident on the highway. He motioned for the guy to pull-over and the guy did. He jumped out of his car and the guy had a billy-club. Guy proceeded to beat him down and continued pounding him until he was unconscious, then left him for dead. Both of his wrists were broken and he ended up in the hospital for 2 weeks.

So, probably not much of anything.

Same here. The guy who honked and swore at her (over something trivial) is either an idiot who's not worth my time or he just popped a fuse and is already feeling a little embarrassed. Either way, I see no reason to engage.

Yup, and here in FL, you never know who's packing.

It's just not worth it.

Same. My wife can curse with the best of them and can have a short fuse. I know the guy gets the finger at a minimum.
