Inspired by the Billy Joel thread. We haven't had a draft in a long time so I thought it might be fun, we'd have categories and judges: we could do it by decade or by style: pop, jazz, rock, R&B, show tunes, etc. We could also have a category where you had to choose 5 songs that represented the best efforts of your songwriter.

Any interest? Should we do this?

I'm not crazy about judging but I'd be interested in a mixtape format.

I think decades would be the way to go. Genres are too ambiguous when it comes to songs. The same song can be performed in multiple styles.
