SOS for NFL teams in 2009 based on W/L from 2008 (1 Viewer)

The AFC East and NFC South.

Not surprisingly these 2 play each other this year. Of course, these SOS aren't the definitive answer, but it does give an indication that these teams are going to be playing teams that did pretty well in 2008. In particular, the AFC East was pretty good vs. the run last year and the NFC South has some quality RB's that did well last year facing them.

Ouch..

Plus, I'd say every AFC east team is better than last year and those numbers factor in a Pats team without Brady.....

Doesn't FBG come out with a SOS based on team draft/changes and such so that it is forward looking, and not backward looking like this type of analysis?

Every year teams that were good get bad, and teams that were bad get good so this isn't too predictive.

Yeah, things change so much with FA's and the draft, it's best to wait if FBG's comes out with that. A few that stick out to me from last year are Miami, Atlanta, and Oakland's defense... nobody was expecting much from them

On a slight tangent, does anyone know the best way to copy and paste the data from the table on that link into a post so that it's aligned without having to manually edit it? I can never get that crap right......
