South Park season 14 (1 Viewer)

I set my DVR to record 201 last night but it was the Scoty McBoogerballs episode. Was 201 pulled by CC?

Curious as to the details behind this one, was it always intended to be censored, or did CC make them do so after the death threats came in? Decision must have been made early enough for the closed-captioning to include all the [beep]s, which isn't a quick change to make.

Great episode. Cartman's father reveal was awesome, I did not see that coming.

When you go to watch "201" on South Park studios this is the message that comes up:

"WE APOLOGIZE THAT SOUTH PARK STUDIOS CANNOT STREAM EPISODE 201 AT THIS TIME. AFTER WE DELIVERED THE SHOW, AND PRIOR TO BROADCAST, COMEDY CENTRAL PLACED NUMEROUS ADDITIONAL AUDIO BLEEPS THROUGHOUT THE EPISODE. WE DO NOT HAVE NETWORK APPROVAL TO STREAM OUT ORIGINAL VERSION OF THE SHOW. WE WILL BRING YOU A VERSION OF 201 AS SOON AS WE CAN"

Screw Comedy Central makes you wonder which of those bleeps were from Matt and Trey and which were from Comedy Central execs. I still wish they would have showed ********* but i guess you can't win them all.

Thanks, interesting.

I thought those long beeps at the end were part of the gag. :hot:

Is CC afraid of getting bombed? Cuz it doesn't appeart that Matt and Trey are taking the threats very seriously.

They can show Gods doing cocaine and checking out internet porn, but showing an uncensored version?
I think that was the point.
I know. It just shows how ridiculous this whole thing is. Kudos to Stone and Parker for blatantly pointing it out.

I laughed a lot at this episode. Neil Diamond and Barbara Streisand was hysterical. I also found the black guy at the door routine hysterical. Not to mention.....the line....sorry is a 4 letter word with a y at the end and that doesn't mean anything to this kid. :P

I thought so too.
Holy frick! Comedy Central is a bunch of absolute pu##ies."In the 14 years we’ve been doing South Park we have never done a show that we couldn’t stand behind. We delivered our version of the show to Comedy Central and they made a determination to alter the episode. It wasn’t some meta-joke on our part. Comedy Central added the bleeps. In fact, Kyle’s customary final speech was about intimidation and fear. It didn’t mention Muhammad at all but it got bleeped too. We’ll be back next week with a whole new show about something completely different and we’ll see what happens to it," - Matt Stone and Trey Parker. Sounds like they're gonna be lighting into the network next episode.

I hope the script leaks at some point.

WTF... I thought the "I learned something" beeps had to be a goof. They beeped whole sentences for christ sakes. What the hell is wrong with CC.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I assumed right away that Comedy Central was responsible. They've pulled #### like that in the past.

Finally just watched it. So awesome. Love how they connect the episodes and would really want to see what the "final speech" was and if the original shows Muhammad.

I thought it was funny too but I was pretty wasted.

I wonder if they go after Comedy Central on Wednesday's episode. Might just be wishful thinking on my part but would make for an entertaining episode.

kind of hoped they'd go after comedy central but oh well.

Oh, bull####. They added the bleeps over the final speech as a meta-joke. This denial is some sort of meta-meta-joke.
