I would think that Jordan and his agent wouldn't be stupid enough to not restructure and stay on with the Raiders. With the number of other RB options out there, he may find himself with a much lower contract and without the guarantee of a starting gig.Even the Raiders wouldn't be stupid enough to cut Jordan,
Jordan is much better than his stats in OAK would indicate. Running behind that line would ruin any RB's stats (see Edge in AZ).I would think that Jordan and his agent wouldn't be stupid enough to not restructure and stay on with the Raiders. With the number of other options out there, he may find himself with a much lower contract and without the guarantee of a starting gig.Even the Raiders wouldn't be stupid enough to cut Jordan,
Totally agree, but the Raiders don't want to pay him that big bonus in a couple of days, and you can hardly blame them.Jordan is much better than his stats in OAK would indicate. Jordan looked sluggish before the injury, imo.I hate to say it because I like the guy,but his best days may be behind him.Jordan is much better than his stats in OAK would indicate. Bonus is due Wednesday I think.Jordan isn't as bad as his stats would indicate, but it doesn't mean he's good.
roster bonus is due wednesdayBonus is due Wednesday I think.Jordan isn't as bad as his stats would indicate, but it doesn't mean he's good.I follow the Raiders closely. Agree, nobody would look good behind that O-line, especially last year, but the explosiveness he showed in limited duty in NY has never been evident as a Raider. I believe in 2 years he has one run of 20 yards or more, and that was 21 yards.
As noted previously, Jordan was there when Herm was coach and Bradway was GM. With a new regime, there's no more likelihood of Jordan ending up there as, say, TJ Duckett, Rhodes, or any of the other options out there still. It seems like NYJ could be a feasable destination though.

fea·si·ble1. capable of being done, effected, or accomplished: a feasible plan. 2. probable; likely: a feasible theory. 3. suitable: a road feasible for travel. I meant feasible (spelled correctly this time, lol) as far as definition #1, not #2 meaning they have RB needs and if he's an available RB they may consider bringing him in (in agreement with your statement) as well as other RBs they think may be able to help them out. IMO, I think he has more upside than Duckett or Rhodes + the fact that he has a history for the NYJ and never got his chance with them since C-Mart kept playing "1 more year" which I don't think would be a deciding factor but could contribute a little. As noted previously, Jordan was there when Herm was coach and Bradway was GM. Uh, that's Travis Henry.Lamont Jordan did have a 59-yard TD this year. One thing to remember is that he has Randy Moss "blocking" for him downfield.WrongWeek6 rushed for 23 yardsBonus is due Wednesday I think.

a 36 yarder and a 59 yarder in 06
True, but Tannenbaum was the salary-cap czar under Bradway, who really operated more as head talent evaluator and trade-maker. Tannenbaum was around for Jordan being drafted and for the failed negotiations that led to Jordan's FA signing with Oakland. As noted previously, Jordan was there when Herm was coach and Bradway was GM. With a new regime, there's no more likelihood of Jordan ending up there as, say, TJ Duckett, Rhodes, or any of the other options out there still. It seems like NYJ could be a feasable destination though.
I have a hunch he might have a good shot to land in Baltimore if released.I think it'd be interesting for him to land in BAL, although I haven't heard any "rumors" that this could happen. He did go to U of MD and may be an interesting replacement for J Lewis if they can't resign him since they have similar rushing styles. It seems like NYJ could be a feasable destination though.

Good point - Tannenbaum was definitely a part of the whole Jordan era.True, but Tannenbaum was the salary-cap czar under Bradway, who really operated more as head talent evaluator and trade-maker. Didn't he already restructure his contract, last week? I think this is a non-issue at this point.
I think I read the same Blurb...It said that Jordan was not "sure" if he wanted to restructure.Didn't he already restructure his contract, last week? I think this is a non-issue at this point.I read a blurb that he didn't want to restructure.
