Speculation that Gruden will replace Parcells in '07 (1 Viewer)

A few days ago the local Tampa Tribune reported that Gruden might be fishing for another job in the offseason.

He came back today expressly denying such rumors, but it makes one wonder where these rumors may have originated from and how much substance they might have?

Would be interested to get to the bottom of this.

For the record I don't think there's a white man's chance as a cornerback that Gruden leaves anytime before '08, and I honestly see him coaching the Bucs for a very long time.

One thing I would find odd about such a move is the control that Gruden and Allen have at One Buc. Why would he give that up to go work for Jones?

Nothing makes me think that. I just wish Julius Jones would get some love.
