The Hunt owner in my league already had him rostered and isn't sniffing the playoffs... too bad! This is a great case for hand-cufffing your starting RBs.This guy is gonna win some people championships

Correct, they have known all season. But the video changes everything (right or wrong) as it always does.the team knew for quiet awhile. KC owner said something back in August.
I am too and had Brees. Run and get Conley since Watkins is ruled out already. That's what I fear. I just picked up Ware but am facing Mahommes this weekend.
AP is reporting Hunt is landing on the Exempt List, so he's most likely done for the season while the NFL investigates. So what are the odds the NFL does anything for this season? Not real familiar with all the details in the Ezekial Elliott case but didn't it take the NFL a year to investigate?
Hunt needs to avoid the dreaded commish exempt list...domestc violence is 6 games....weird that the league did nothing when they knew....if course maybe they didnt see the tapeSo what are the odds the NFL does anything for this season? That is my understanding from what I read. The NFL and the Chiefs knew of the incident but did not know of any video. Maybe they only got one-side of the story from Hunt and his buddies. I gotta believe that NFL security investigated further though when it first happened.Hunt needs to avoid the dreaded commish exempt list...domestc violence is 6 games....weird that the league did nothing when they knew....if course maybe they didnt see the tape
This is a knee jerk reaction, and a bad one at that.Just dropped Ekeler for him. Better chance Ware breaks my lineup over Ekeler for the playoffs.
Ekeler is my 4th RB with a max of 4 spots. I think Ware has more upside and more of a chance to make my starting line. This is a knee jerk reaction, and a bad one at that.
I guess it makes more sense then, but I hate leagues with these kinds of limitations. My main league has a deep bench with 9 bench slots and I have a total of 9 RBs on my team Zeke and 8 other RB3 or lower guys - fortunately one of them is S. Ware vs Ekeler is likely a weekly decision here.I guess it makes more sense then, but I hate leagues with these kinds of limitations. My main league has a deep bench with 9 bench slots and I have a total of 9 RBs on my team Zeke and 8 other RB3 or lower guys - fortunately one of them is S. Ware.
Well, it worked. I sent an email to the 4 teams that are out of the playoffs and one of them picked up Ware, and another one tried but he was already gone. We do have a $10 weekly prize for high score and everybody is eligible throughout the entire season, so it's possible he gets a high score out of it one week. And in any event this keeps Ware away from any potential playoff opponent.Conroy said:Mostly joking about the anonymous part, mostly serious about getting someone else to use his roster space
That seems way too high to me. Ware isn't anywhere near the talent Hunt is. Hunt was the best RB in the NFL after contact since he was drafted.kyoun1e said:Dodds has already adjusted his rankings.
Ware ranked #9 in PPR scoring.
Directly behind James Conner and David Johnson and ahead of Mixon and Chubb.
I have Mahomes and Kelce and wondering same thing. Would have to bench either Keenan Allen or Golladay to start Ware.I picked him up but already start Tyreek and Kelce every week. Wonder if that's too many eggs.
Ware's career efficiency #s are basically identical to Hunt's. In the same role (mostly), in lesser version of the same offense. That seems way too high to me. Ware isn't anywhere near the talent Hunt is. Hunt was the best RB in the NFL after contact since he was drafted.
You do know KC plays OAK this weekend, correct? Great matchup. RB9 seems reasonable. That seems way too high to me. Ware isn't anywhere near the talent Hunt is. Hunt was the best RB in the NFL after contact since he was drafted.
I'd have Ware around RB15 or so, in line with Sony Michel or Marlon Mack. I'd be insulted if somebody offered me Ware for Chubb.
The matchup is nice, I'm not sure the player is, or that he is going to get Hunt's usage. RBBC seems very possible to me, and Ware hasn't played meaningful snaps in 2 years, and had a major leg injury since then. He's well worth a waiver add, no question, but I think its wishful thinking that he's going to be an RB1, or have even 75% of Hunt's production. You do know KC plays OAK this weekend, correct? Funny you said drop your kicker. I thought about doing that earlier, but my kicker is Butker, and my other RBs are Gordon, David Johnson, McCaffery, Breida and Ekeler. Kinda regretting it but kinda not.socrates said:That is a risky move. Gordon is week-to-week, and Ekeler could put up RB1 numbers, especially in PPR. No doubt Ware would be considered a RB1 himself if Hunt is suspended/put on Commissioner's exempt list, but that is not a certainty. I think I would drop my kicker for Ware and let this play out until Sunday.
this is interesting. I currently have him benched behind Barkley, chubb, and mixonkyoun1e said:Dodds has already adjusted his rankings.

I am contemplating benching Chubb for Ware this week. Chubb @ Houston v. Ware @ Oak. Houston has given only three 100 yd rushing games. Oak has given up over 100yds rushing in ALL but 2 games.this is interesting. I currently have him benched behind Barkley, chubb, and mixon
I think there is a very good chance they see action in weeks 16 and 17 assuming the chiefs win out. Just as if Ware would have seen action in those weeks if Hunt had remained the starter. Other than spot duty I don't think you will see much of the backups until the last two regular season games unless they have a blow out going on, it is Ware's ball for now.Of the 2 guys behind Ware is it likely they see any action or are we pretty sure Ware carries the load?
I thought about that too but benched Mixon. I'm not sure he has room to run with the defense not worried about the passI am contemplating benching Chubb for Ware this week. Chubb @ Houston v. Ware and Ekeler imo. I think Ware is going to end up being a must start.Deciding weekly between: until Melvin comes back
Ware @ Oakland
Chubb @ Houston
Ekeler @ Pittsburgh
K Allen @ Pittsburgh
get to pick two in PPR.
Playing Houston at DST so not sure I want Chubb.
You think the Chiefs build a three game lead over the Pats, Texans, AND Chargers within the next 3 weeks???Damien Williams will now win championships in week 16 when they sit Ware but Ware gets you into the championship game.
Seems doubtful. They want to win. Whatever route they have to take is what they'll do.Anyone think the Chiefs will just sling to to shift Hunt attention to Mahomes MVP race to show he can have success without Hunt helping in the run game?
I mean, it wouldn't be for that reason, but I think it likely the Chiefs get more pass heavy, simply because they just suffered a pretty big downgrade at RB, much like I expect the Chargers to do as well.Anyone think the Chiefs will just sling to to shift Hunt attention to Mahomes MVP race to show he can have success without Hunt helping in the run game?
