I took todays Saints loss hard. I mean real hard. I know we all like to talk smack, but help talk a brother off the ledge.

Not sure how serious you are, but every year there is one Super Bowl champ and 31 losers. Think back one year at the 3-13 Saints, then think about all the enjoyment you had this year. Be happy. Sports are for enjoyment, not being so wrapped up in the winning or losing that you're on the ledge if they lose. If you do that, you'll be unhappy after almost every season. Instead, be happy you love your Saints. Be happy they got this far. JUST BE HAPPY ALREADY DAMMIT!

It is okay, Stat. Here... We are a much better team now than we were a year ago. We are young, with a solid coach and a good QB and young quality skill positions and good team chemistry. All our linebackers are non-starters from other teams that were not even on the roster at the beginning of training camp. Our OL was a huge liablility heading into the season, but Payton and his coaching staff developed them into a quality unit with 3 new starters, and 4 players in new positions. They will only improve. We need some more talent at LB and at CB. So far, this regime has pulled all the right strings. Let's keep the faith that they will continue to do so. They have earned our trust.

Feeling better. Thanks.

Every other team in the NFC other than the Bears wishes they would have been in the Saints spot today.

Breathe. (repeat)

Eagles fans know all too well this feeling.Savor the moment - playoffs don't happen every year.Take solace that the team is young and will get better, especially on D.Give it a few days, then if you're still craving football check out the Senior Bowl. If that's not enough, get into a year round fantasy league if that will help. Action starts in February for Dynasty Leagues. The Saints will be a contender next year with multiple games in Prime Time.Hang tough. It'll pass.

As a Pats fan I can tell you to never give up. Times cange, and one year you can be 5-12, with a misterable history. Four years later they had three rings. Success is fleeting, and only one team a year feels it. Enjoy it while it's there, because the odds are against every team all the way. And remember, they always come back better next year. Or at least that's what I always tell myself.
