I know... My league's commish is damn stubborn. Ugh. I've been begging to change for years. It's amazing to me that a site that charges 179.99 for a commish service is busy enough to crash in the first place.
Also amazing that anyone would even consider that fee.
I left there 10 years ago (only spent 3 years with them) once yahoo become more customizable. Still a few options I would like to have that they don't support, but nothing major to justify spending any money on a site to host my leagues.I know... My league's commish is damn stubborn. Ugh. Agree with this. I really don't think the cost is that big of a deal when its spread out amongst the whole league. And their live scoring is second to none. MFL always looked like something from a decade long past, personally...very amateurish. Reminds me of playing a computer game on my old Apple back when I was a kid.In the same boat. However, both Yahoo & ESPN have their limitations as well. And while I have leagues in all 3; i still prefer cbs when working...the when working part seems to be less frequent though.
Other than the big 3, is there another site that is better? I would love to move my league(s) to somewhere else, but honestly don't see others as much better.
ESPN just now:4th&inches said:In the same boat. However, both Yahoo & ESPN have their limitations as well.
To our Fantasy Football players
Don't worry, you're not locked out. For the next few weeks, we'll be performing some routine maintenance and game improvements so that you can be locked-in for domination as soon as the games kick off. We appreciate your patience during this brief update period. Please check back in late May and we'll be up and running. And remember, as soon as their season begins, your season begins.
It's incredible. This isn't MFL, where all they do is fantasy leagues. I imagine cbs.com and espn.com get a few more visitors than their fantasy league sites. It's not like these companies only have one hamster.ESPN a mess at the moment
They need a bigger cage but this fantasy sport thing is new. Give em another 12 or 14 years they'll iron out some of the wrinkles. It's incredible. Is your working and what version of flash are you running? I just installed Flash Player 15.I love CBS. Favorite by far.
Check which version of internet brouser you are using tooIs anybody else's sportsline page sitting there spinning (the center part)? Also seems that you can't change lineups, can't view player stats, etc. Pretty sure they have the dumbest web programmers $ can buy.
Seems the live scoring page is totally messed up too.
I am using an ipad. Haven't tried it yet tonight because I don't have anybody going and neither does my opponent. Is your working and what version of flash are you running? I just installed Flash Player 15.I love CBS. Favorite by far.
I moved my fantasy football and fantasy basketball leagues to Fleaflicker after reading on these forums, I think from Greg Russell and Adam Harstad (forgive me if I'm getting his last name wrong) particularly, the benefits of Fleaflicker. I was convinced after reading their opinions and at least one of them had been using Fleaflicker for a long time.In the same boat. However, both Yahoo & ESPN have their limitations as well. nopeIs CBS totally down for everyone else? I can't even reply all to a league email.
our league tried MFL a couple of years ago and they completely screwed up the auction draft. I also think the menus are terrible and UI skins are dressing on a pig. Other than that, it's great - in season user experience is fine once you get used to the GUI and it can't be beat for customization - even CBS still doesn't allow for multiple waiver methods like MFL (FAAB and then first come, first serve FA waivers) , or different team auction dollar amounts to start the draft.ahh the annual hate on cbs thread. what's with you people and CBS? it works great for me and has for many years. LOL at fly by night operation comment on the OP, I'm pretty sure they were one of the first if not the first major vendor online with fantasy football. i miss those days when it was free and yes it is expensive. but no, yahoo is not better though it being free definitely give them a leg up on that comparison.
NOW everyone will get it.FixedYou get what you OVER pay for.....
