St. Louis at Seattle (1 Viewer)

I understand Seattle is a tough place to play, but I saw Clemens play in NY & thought he shouldn't be on an NFL roster then. Watching this game just reinforces that thought.

Haven't seen a replay yet but live it looked like the referee walked into Langford moving his arm.
He did... The call against 52 was bull#### too! Lynch was stiff arming his teammate in the face out of bounds after his helmet came off.

Free TD that drive... Game is now over
If it makes you feel any better, blowing that play dead when it shouldn't have been cost Seattle a TD, from what I see on twitter. Refs as bad as it seems this whole game?
In a season of poor officiating this may be the crowning jewell. It's been like a replacent game. That Willson TD the whistle didn't even blow until a few seconds after Wilson released it. They claim no play and the next play Willson goes down. It's be funny if there wasn't a players health involved.

Its been a while since I've seen a team fall apart mentally like the Rams are.
Hit on L. Wilson an unfortunate play, or look on purpose?
just a bad break. The play shouldn't have been necessary tough. ####ty luck for Willson to go from a long TD to potentially out for the playoffs.
Bring back the replacement refs?
The NFL needs to do something about the state of officiating. First step would be to make them full time with limits of tenure. The best refs move on to an advisory position and, as a solid step número dos, positions at remote locations looking at the replays and making the calls. Nobody should be on the field calling games past their 55th birthday, and I'd say maybe move them along at 50. These older guys are not able to keep up with speed of the game any longer. The advisory committee should also have more power to suspend refs and crews based on performance. Pay them we'll but keep them looking over their shoulders wondering which young buck is going to take their job.

Bottom line, they have it too cushy right now.

What a bunch of horse####. It's an easy, automatic call when you hit a player that far out of bounds no matter what. If the dude with no helmet wants Lynch to ease up on him, then he should quit on the play. If he's still tackling (and out of bounds too) with his hands on Lynch, then why should Lynch quit? It was a face wash, not a hit. Neither of them got flagged.

As for the ejection, I'm not sure how the rule on contacting a ref is worded. That was clearly unintentional but it happened when he was angrily gesturing and arguing with another ref because of an already thrown flag in a game that was already over the line in terms of the refs losing control. By the time he smacked the ref, the refs had had enough. Tough break for him being the straw that broke the back but he's got no one but himself and his teammates to blame for letting themselves lose their cool. But it's a moronic claim that hitting anyone well out of bounds should be allowed for any reason, though I'm not surprised you made it.
