I heard rumors Schwarzenegger is coming back too.
Interesting.... Initial rumors are saying most of the story lines are going to revolve around Solo in Ep 7.
I hear he makes the Kessel Run with his left turn signal on the whole way.
:lmao:

Confirmed: Disney intends to release a Star Wars movie every summer, starting in 2015. There will be the new trilogy, and the stand alone films, which will alternate summers.

I am sure a lot of "fans" will have an issue with it, but I am good with it. If they make solid movies, I couldn't care less, I will go see them with my sons.
I'm cool with this. My kids will be 4 in 2015. So it's the perfect time to start cranking out Star Wars movies every year. Their childhood memories of it will either be awesome or as something obnoxious and overbearing.

Why would anyone have issues with it before the movies are even made? They could suck, they could be very good. No one knows yet. Personally I hope the 5 movies average out in the Revenge of the Sith/ROTJ quality level when all is said and done.

Are you hoping to get them to see the previous 6 before going to see the new ones? My daughter always gets more out of movies if I make sure she watches all of the back stories first before jumping in. She even got the Admiral Archer dog joke in the most recent Star Trek because I made sure she watched Enterprise first :)

Makes sense to me since Ford is not getting any younger and I could see him dying heroically in Ep.7
Oh! Oh! Oh! I have an awesome idea.

Han Solo could have a son, someone super awesome like Shia Lebouf or Maggie Gyllenhaal's brother, and then the son could carry on the franchise.

Profit!

For some reason people equate change with "STOP RAPING MY CHILDHOOD!"

I'm debating when the right time is. I swear I was like 4 when I first saw star wars (85) but it's all a blur. I don't want to force it on them and have them be like "alright dad we get it."

I started my daughter at 7. That was a good age for her although she had to watch them a few times to get it all.

I'm thinking that might be the right time. Maybe 6. My son is 2 and he falls in love with anything. Thomas, Elmo, Eagles, Flyers. So I think he'll love Star Wars when the time comes. Daughter we will see.

Actually it's more like if you are going to do it do it right and stop screwing with it once it's done.

Only when the change is utterly stupid, like turning the force into blood algae that can be measured with a tri-corder.

There's a lot of pressure on this movie. If its bad, I think all the starwars nerds like me may finally give up on all new releases.
You will see them all. No matter how poor the first one is. All the Star Wars nerds will.
Eh. I didn't buy the bluray or go see the 3D release.

Cause you already saw that movie. You were there for Ep1 in 99 I'll bet. Then again in 02 despite Ep1 being subpar. You'll be there for any new content they put out.

A lot of people did. Lets hope this one is better so we don't get to test the theory.
