Usually I can think through my start/sits, but this one has me irritated. Been debating it all week.
I'm 1-3 in this league, and likely needing a win. (to come back from 1-4 to make the playoffs in this set up isn't impossible, but its pretty damn tough)
Standard scoring, start 2 RBs and no flex. NON PPR.
AARON JONES - Not the greatest match up..... @Dallas. But no Jamaal Williams, AND a strong possibility of Davante Adams sitting, to me this seems like a no brainer play. Should get plenty of work.
DERRICK HENRY - VS The Bills. Not a great matchup, though they are better at stopping big pass plays generally.
CHRIS CARSON - Thursday night.......... vs. the Rams in an expected shootout. This may turn into a big passing game , but the massive workload last week for Carson is hard to ignore.
I'm leaning towards Jones and Henry. Not wanting to Bench Carson, but Penny is back, and I could see them giving Carson a lighter workload.
I also note that the Titans game is expected to have a lot of rain, so I figure Henry will get a large amount of carries there.
It also should be noted that all 3 backs have projections within a point of each other, AND my head to head matchup looks to be close.... even though I might be 5 points behind in expectation. My opponent is starting McCaffrey and Cook, so there is a chance I need a BIG game too.... another reason I'm leaning Henry.
Even though I play in 4-5 leagues a year or more, I usually can determine the lineup I'm happy about rolling out. This one I have been unsure all week......
Thoughts?
