Start Lamar Miller or Jerrick McKinnon this week? (1 Viewer)

I am in a standard scoring league and I have both of these guys as options for my RB2. Can't start them both as there is no flex. CJA is locked in at RB1.

I am thinking that the game script will force Houston to throw more than they want, and the Vikings will be looking to run out the clock.  So, I am leaning McKinnon.

Am I crazy?

I'm not so sure. With Diggs out, I don't expect Minnesota to run away with the game in which Houston is forced to throw. I expect it to be a close battle in which both backs should be in line for plenty of touches. What helps with Miller (and should ultimately make the decision for you), is the amount of touches he gets and he is not sharing the backfield with someone named Matt Asiata, who they will still use towards the goalline. Miller is averaging almost 25 carries a game and that alone in terms of opportunity should help you make the decision to start him over McKinnon.

I think volume favors Miller and that's where I would go.

Asiata will more than likely vulture goal line carries. I like McKinnon but I would go Miller

Can't bench a guy seeing 25 touches every week. I'd go Miller.
