Starting a business and need advice on website platform and Hubspot! (1 Viewer)

Brief summary:  starting an IT services business and have a few questions regarding Hubspot for marketing and the website.

1) Any strong opinions on DUDA vs. WordPress for the website?  The firm I'm considering "logical position" is pushing DUDA because it's cheaper, and has similar SEO functionality as WordPress?

2) Any experience using Hubspot as a CRM and marketing tool?  It looks pretty cost effective, but seems confusing too.  Given I'm learning marketing on the fly I'll probably bring in a consultant.  UpWork has hubspot consultants for 60-175 per hours and I'll probably leverage them.  I'd like to run email and LinkedIn ad campaigns and I'm told Hubspot is the way to go for small businesses.  Any strong opinions on hubspot?

Thanks!

If I was building a website I'd use Wordpress. Really easy to use and if you ever need a programmer pretty much all of them are familiar with Wordpress.

As far as Hubspot, I was certified in Hubspot at my previous job. It's a pretty dynamic tool to use for your business. But it is time-consuming to learn and it can be confusing at times how it all works together. So if you have some help you would be fine.

You can also build your website through the Hubspot platform, but then your website is tied to hubspot also. You can plug hubspot into your wordpress website so you will always maintain ownership in your site. If you build it through Hubspot it becomes a bit more tedious to move it away from there if you decide you don't like Hubspot.

Now keep in mind, these are my thoughts from when I used it 5 years ago, so there may be some changes in all of this.

But for running a small business and using their tools is pretty good stuff.
