Starting BOTH Eagles RB's, Westbrook & McCoy....Dumb? (1 Viewer)

Let's say you have a 12 team league with PPR......

How much work do you think both will get?

Obviously, McCoy is a definite handcuff but starting them both might be a good play if they are both getting enough touches and the Eagles offense is clicking like it's supposed to.

Thoughts?

Just a guess but I'd think you would do as well as if you started Westbrook and Buckhalter together last season. Reid is going to throw the ball even if he has ADP in his backfield. I don't think the game plan will change drastically.

I think Westbrook and McCoy are way down the list of 2 startable RBs. There are probably a dozen teams that have a more startable combo, IMO

not a good idea, Philly likes to give 1 RB the work. Then again they never had a RB like McCoy as a back up.

I would hold off until a) Westy is bang up and b) we see the Eagles game plan for the rookie

It might work if Westbrook is questionable and the Eagles play Sunday night or Monday night. Otherwise, there's probably someone else in your lineup that would produce more than McCoy.

dumb.

It would be tantamount to starting dun and norwood a few years ago for the falcons. A few good weeks (when norwood/mccoy rip a long one off) but all in all an idea that probably isn't worth doing.
