Given the popularity and general fun of 32 team leagues myself and a few other people have started a new league. The league fee is $60 per year, but for the initial year we will be requiring $90 upfront to pay for this year and the half of next year. All funds are being held on Leaguesafe.
Some of the vanilla stuff:
-It is an IDP league: 1 DT, 2 DE, 3 LB, 2 S's, 2 CBs, 1 DP.
-Balanced scoring between offense and defense.
-Two copies of each player in the player universe (each draft round will be 32 picks long, two teams in the same division can own the same player).
-Slow draft.
-Dynasty of course .
-Super pot every 5 years. $10 will be retained from each owner's entry fee every year to add to the pot in year 5.
The not so vanilla stuff:
-Beer themed league. Each owner can choose their team's name, but it must be modeled after a brew of their choice. Also, due to the theme we ask that you are of drinking age in whichever country you live in.
-Victory point scoring. Unlike typical VP leagues there are four buckets/tiers of scoring, with the bottom 8 teams each week receiving a negative one for points. This is something new we are trying. We will review after the year to see if it needs to change to 3 tiers/buckets.
-3 playoff brackets with varying payouts for each.
-Skunked Beer Rule. The team with the lowest VP scored for the season forfeits their naming rights for the following year. The second place team from the Championship bracket will be awarded naming rights.

As for league management, there will be three commissioners overseeing the day to day operations of the league. I am the head commissioner of the league and overall promote fairness in all my leagues. I've been commissioning leagues for about 5 years now though admittedly this is my first year commissioning on MFL. However, it is not my first year playing on the site.
