TV Showdown Dynasty Football Startup ($250): Looking to find owners that love the following rules below. I want motivated owners. Owners that check in constantly and are always looking for a deal. Owners that don't complain about a bad offer, but instead use it as an opportunity to start a trade discussion. If your last time logged on reaches 10 days or more, we need to review whether this league was right for you. I want dynasty bums that are looking at their teams while on vacation type guys..... I will be using these next two weeks to secure all 12 spots. 7 have already signed up, so the spots are limited and we should be underway easily by my target draft date. So get back to me ASAP Looking for everyone to be paid on LeagueSafe by Sunday, July 31st. (this Sunday!) If you are not paid by that date, I WILL start looking replace your spot so we can draft on time. The draft is going to start on August 5th. It will have a 5 hour clock, with a pause at night. If you are someone who "can't check for periods of 10 and 12 hours", this isn't for you. I need dynasty junkies!! MFL and LeagueSafe as always. Fees are ALREADY paid for MFL, so we are set. This league is $250. I have a new rule I am rolling out for this league. It is as follows regarding a League Reserve:-The purpose of this Reserve is to promote league longevity and trading. The Reserve gives owners a chance to do as they please with their teams and the integrity of the league will stay intact with funds to acquire new owners when or if an owner has left their team undesirable to a new owner. -League Reserve Fees will be $10 per team, per season ($120). This will come out of the $250 league fee. -The fee will come out each year until the Reserve pot reaches $480. -When the $480 is reached, the $10 ($120) will instead go to the general prize pool. The League Reserve will be used when or if a team is in too bad a shape to sell at full $250 price. The commissioner can offer discounts at his discretion to entice new owners. He also reserves the right to offer an additional 2nd round pick (2.13) if he sees fit.Scoring: I strive to have a balanced scoring system, that doesn't cater to specific positions, so that an owner can build his team as he sees fit.This league is also Best Ball. I foresee me doing any new leagues in the near future in this format. IMO being a multi leaguer it is more efficient, and it takes the guess work out of it (luck) and rewards you for the roster you've built!This is a Devy league also. You will have an opportunity to take up to 2 Devy's each draft. There will be limitations though and I am hammering out details this weekend.This draft will be 3RR, 3rd Round Reversal. 1-12, 12-1, 12-1, 1-12, 12-1 then snake from there... I have used this more recently and it evens out the playing field some so that your player evaluation is more important then your draft slot. This 3RR will also be preceded by a Kentucky Derby style draft selection. So I will randomize the picks, from there, #1 will select their draft slot in the 3RR draft, etc. Trade Deadline will be before kickoff on Sunday of Week #12 14 game regular season schedule, single games with 1 double-header in Week #12.24 man rosters with 4 Taxi Spots, 4 IR spotsStarting Lineups will be QB 1-2, RB 2-5, WR 3-6, TE 1-4, K, Def - 12 startersWaivers will be Rolling Waivers during the season and in the off season. Team Names TV theme.... As a matter of fact they will have to be pre-approved by me. You can have any TV Show you please. We will develop the exact name together because of course I will do an icon for each team as soon as I have time. I am working on bylaw wording etc. I will be making tweaks over the next few days, so don't read something and/or look at scoring and wonder why it changed. The rules/scoring are 98% locked in.
