This will ABSOLUTELY be my only start up league I commish this year.
If you are interested I have a temp site setup to show complete bylaws and how rookie spacers are handled due to our draft being held in Feb prior to the NFL rookie draft. Here are some of the basics to the league. If you are interested in the starting lineups and fact that there are TEAM DL, LB and DB's as starting positions I would be happy to send you a link. If you are NOT interested in the Def breakdown of this league please look no further in the rules as this may not be the league for you.
I played this way in a league this year and it was VERY fun and balanced the scoring overall without requiring full knowledge of individual def players. You simply get the full LBs for the Chargers as an example for their weekly production. You do not have to own specific players. You can own the Chargers LBs but also own the Patriots LBs as your starters. You do not own the ENTIRE D like in traditional leagues, you basically own 1/3 of the team unless you draft all 3 Patriot options.
Specifics on the basics:
14 team league
Start 1 QB 1RB 3WR 1TE 3 flex spots (RB, WR, TE) and 1 TMDL, 1TMLB, 1TMDB = 12 total starters weekly. NO KICKERS
Fee $70 (100% payouts)
Roster size 28
BBID Waivers
Draft: Feb 15 (or there abouts we can adjust slightly)
Rookie Spacers included since the NFL draft has not taken place.
Rookie Draft in May
VP scoring
2 Divisions of 7 teams
Schedule: Each team plays the other 13 teams once and then in wee 14 the playoffs begin.
Top 6 teams in the playoffs next 6 in the CBowl brackets worst 2 teams in the league play for pick 1:15
I have 100 references if you want one or 100. I also run my own private message board with a friend that is going into its 3rd year. I can provide references from that board as well. They probably know me best.
Let me know if you are an interested team that desires more information.
