DeShaun Foster, RB CAR
News: According to The Gaston Gazette, Carolina Panthers RB DeShaun Foster said he hyperextended his left elbow during Sunday’s 15-0 win over the St. Louis Rams but expects to play next week against the Washington Redskins. Foster appeared to be on the way to his third 100-yard rushing game of the season when he left the game in the second quarter after falling on his left forearm. He finished with 63 yards on nine carries. “I tried to put my arm down to keep my balance and I guess I hyperextended it,” said Foster. “I could have returned if the game was closer.” There’s no word yet on whether Foster or rookie DeAngelo Williams will start next week against the Washington Redskins, but look for Foster to get the start if he plays.
Analysis: This is good news for Foster owners but it looks like Williams will continue to steal carries. Consider Foster a No. 2 RB against the Redskins in Week 12 if he's the starter but continue to monitor his status.
