Steal of the Draft so far... (1 Viewer)

Who's been the steal of the draft through the first quarter of the season?

I'd argue Emmanuel Sanders, for those who got him before his huge pre-season game.

Honorable mention:

Ahmad Bradshaw

Steve Smith Sr

Andrew Hawkins

Miles Austin

Terrance West

Martellus Bennett

Mike Wallace

Allen Hurns

Delanie Walker

The second overall pick in my draft. Lesean McCoy stole that thing from me and convinced me it was in my best interest at the time. Larceny I say.

Steve Smith has my vote so far, I think it ends up being Kelvin Benjamin, as I expect Smitty to slow down.

steve smith for me on basically all of my teams for the most part, from the draft

Donnell , Bennett, Walker also from the draft are killing it, but Steve Smith is on fire in some leagues he was undrafted so lol.

WW pick up Kelce of course.

You are kidding yourself if you think all those bolded were drafted. I bet most of them were not owned in more than 30% of redrafts. Steve Smith and Bradshaw even were undrafted in my 10 team, 17 round redraft league.

Benjamin is a Top 10 in every single league I'm in. That is the definition of a steal vs. expectations.

Im gonna stick w/ the Cowboys RB. I know he probably cost ya a earlier pick, and ya proabably had to deal w snickers from the fans of (insert lower tier RB's name)

Murray, and if it was close, I need ya to post scoring or better yet explain the thought process on the scoring

It could be a crazy record being sett if Murray can stay healthy!

Kelvin Benjamin has been rock solid
I think it's most likely to be Kelvin by the end of the year. He was going in the 9th+ in many of my drafts this year. I normally avoid rookie WRs like the plague so I don't have him on any of my 12 teams. He's racking up receptions, yardage, and TDs at a consistently high rate.

I would think he'd be drafted in the 3rd in a redraft right now.

Steve Smith went long after Benjamin and Sanders in most drafts, and has been better than both, so he is the obvious WR steal of the draft.

For RBs, it's gotta be Bradshaw.

TEs, Delanie Walker or Martellus Bennett.

The only one who went undrafted in any of my leagues is Hurns. I personally took Hawkins in every league I'm in.

QB - Rivers

RB - Murray

WR - Steve Smith is the obvious choice, but I would add Jordy Nelson to this and maybe even Antonio Brown.

Ok, I'll give the obvious one:

Le'Veon Bell

Dude was dropping to the 3rd round after the weed bust and Blount talk.

Would be a Top 3 draft pick today.

Asiata...(I own him in a few leagues, a couple I got him as a WW, but I also drafted him in a 12 teamer with pretty deep benches)

Folks have mentioned Bell, Murray, and Luck, because they were very good picks. But they were pretty early selections though. Murray and Bell are probably 1 and 2 at RB, but that's not much of a surprise for your 2nd or 3rd round pick. KB, Sanders, or Steve Smith sometimes were picked as reserves.

Rashad Jennings is antoher great one actually, on the team I got Jennings in the 6th round, and Steve Smith in the second to last (around there) I am doing very well even though Shady hasn't done anythig yet because of those two pics.

I got Kelvin in the 8th. I agree with a comment above that he's probably going in the 3rd next year in redraft leagues. Jennings was taken in our 5th. He'd be a 2nd rounder now. But for me its Leveon Bell. Was taken mid 3rd in a 12 team, 1/2ppr league. That's value.

For me it's been Steve Smith. Got him for $1 in my Auction league -- under .5 PPR he's the #4 WR in fantasy so far this year. He and Kelvin have made up for disappointing showings from VJax and Colston.

With the current slopfest at RB, there is a very likely chance that Fred Jackson (yet again) will be in this conversation by years end.

He hasn't gotten a ton of touches yet, but he has done decent in the action he has gotten, with one very good game.

I think he went in like round 10-12 in my leagues.

His health will obviously be a factor down the stretch, but on the same token, CJ Spiller's health might make him more valuable than he already is.

TZM

For my money it is Rivers, he is a top five qb that I paid a 13th round pick for, that is the definition of robbery.

If they can maintain their work to date in 2014, it's been a pair of Steelers - Bell and Brown.

Late round steal... I would give it to Steve Smith so far.

I vote for Antonio Brown. Somehow got him in the mid-third (not typical, he was more of a second rounder in most i'd guess). As consistent as it's possible to be for a WR so far.
