Maybe they're getting him used to sitting a few times a game for when Bell comes back? ? Kidding.Think they just resting him for a few series. When came off looked fine.

Would be so refreshing to have commentators that just rip on dumb coaching, dumb plays, and bad ref calls.Just the spot on that 1st down that had to be challenged.
... other than that, just poor across the league overall.
that replay out of the 2 minute warning was good. funny thing was hearing d-bag Pereira how no penalty cause it wasn't a push. was a great move by Brown to pull up on the jersey, then jerk down and cause DB to fallCan they PLEASE show the replay? Jackson is absolutely furious there wasn't a pushoff call... and the truck guys show no replay?
He might have been slightly tugging his sleeve but didn’t see the push offlol he's tugging his sleeve and pushing him away... that's a good no-call?
WHAT? I know that' s AB but wow.
Ok, lolthat replay out of the 2 minute warning was good. funny thing was hearing d-bag Pereira how no penalty cause it wasn't a push. was a great move by Brown to pull up on the jersey, then jerk down and cause DB to fall
New episodes on netflix btwsWould be so refreshing to have commentators that just rip on dumb coaching, dumb plays, and bad ref calls.
Maybe get those puppet guys from that old show Mystery Science Theater 3000
10. Kamara was keeper, drafted CMC in the first.Ah. 8 man leauge?
Ok, lol
i don't have a dog in this fight (if i do it is for that quick Pitt TD for fantasy), but that is pretty much what AB did. was definitely a sweet play by him, but no doubt he caused the DB to slip and fall I would be relieved that a star running back isn’t being superfluously used at the midway point of a game that the teams likely going to win.Still little concerning conner not on the field
Agreed. The only concerning part is that Tomlin is notorious for keeping his stars in the game even during blowoutsI would be relieved that a star running back isn’t being superfluously used at the midway point of a game that the teams likely going to win.
I don’t think the Steelers coaching staff or Ben have a clue how to manage the clock. I’ve been watching this team for years and that’s evident.Andy Reid think Steelers end of half clock management was ... puzzling
YOU SHUT YOUR WHORE MOUTH!!!Maybe they're getting him used to sitting a few times a game for when Bell comes back? ? Kidding.
IMO, could this portend that they don’t expect Bell back and want to preserve Connor. He looks completely healthy, so I’m not worried.Agreed. The only concerning part is that Tomlin is notorious for keeping his stars in the game even during blowouts
This is what I think too. No need to give Conner 30 touches on a short week, especially when the Steelers are winning comfortably at this point in the game.IMO, could this portend that they don’t expect Bell back and want to preserve Connor. He looks completely healthy, so I’m not worried.
I am. I am up against Cam and CMC.IMO, could this portend that they don’t expect Bell back and want to preserve Connor. He looks completely healthy, so I’m not worried.
Head scratching to say the leastI don’t think the Steelers coaching staff or Ben have a clue how to manage the clock. I’ve been watching this team for years and that’s evident.
Not Tomlin's MO though is it?This is what I think too. No need to give Conner 30 touches on a short week, especially when the Steelers are winning comfortably at this point in the game.
It's one thing to try to score and fail. But nobody looked like they knew whether they wanted to try to score or head to half.I don’t think the Steelers coaching staff or Ben have a clue how to manage the clock. I’ve been watching this team for years and that’s evident.
Mic: "... that cheeky mid-fielder really gave Cameron Newton a bloody good shagging on that play didn't he Niles?"They’re just not Buck and Aikmen. I’m not a big fan of them.
theyre perfectly competent and they haven’t said anything stupid, plus listening to UK accents is always fun.
Typically hasn't been. Curious as to what made him do this now.Not Tomlin's MO though is it?
Yup this is a common occurrence with Ben and Tomlin. Hell it was a common occurrence when Cowher was coaching as well. I feel like most coaches aren't very good at that aspect of the game. Every team should have a specialist that takes over during the last 2 minutes of both halves. It's one thing to try to score and fail. But nobody looked like they knew whether they wanted to try to score or head to half.
Really, he isn't even on the team.I wish these announcers would stop bringing up Bell. No need to compare Conner against Bell.
Yeah, it's just further hurting Bells value for next seasonI wish these announcers would stop bringing up Bell. No need to compare Conner against Bell.
