OLD news already - Whisenhunt has said that Leinart is the starter. He has also said he won't hesitate to bring in Warner and the no-huddle package (to combat the Steelers D and if necessary replace an ineffective Leinart)Bottom line - at least for forseeable future - both will be on the field for parts of the game.

Hey there is RBBC all over, some WRBC spotted around, nothing wrong with a QBBC then, watch out for next year 2008 there will be a DTBC I bet! :lmao:

If anybody knows the Steelers it would be Whisenhunt. Right now he must feel that Warner gives him a better shot at winning and plans on playing him. Makes sense to me...Leinart needs to start making quicker/better decisions with the ball and until he does the Arizona offense will struggle.

This whole QBBC is going to get The Whiz knocked out of the league. Idiotic. You can't possibly divide the reps in practice enough for either to be effective come game time. Just really dumb move on his part. The worst of both worlds.

If you don't think Leinart is ready, sit him. Period. Don't try this two QB system.

The NFL ain't the WAC.

Warner is obviously the better fit right now
Now I'll disclose I'm a Leinart owner, but even looking at the situation objectively, do people not remember how horrible Warner looked early season last year and that's why he was benched?I know his vet savvy allowed him to run an effective no huddle when the Cards were down big, but I think people are overrating Warner here.I'm not saying Leinart might be a better QB at this very second, but I know the 2008 Cardinals are a better team by letting Leinart play the season as the starting QB than they are doing the Pop Warner QB shuffle or handing the reigns to Warner for the season.I guess there is a reason that franchise hasn't won anything in 9,000 years.

Behind a good o-line I'm guessing Warner is still a better QB than Leinart.

Obviously you didn't see last weeks game. You must have a reason for your stance, but I live in Phoenix, watched the game, found it to be a stroke of genius on Wiz' part and liked the results. Think that Warner split reps with the first team last week? While this approach hasn't been taken since the early 70's I believe, in Dallas, with Landry as the coach, using both Stauback and Morton. It was a shortlived effort though, I can see this being a huge system to utilize for this year. I think that Leinart will improve as the season rolls on, but AT THIS TIME, I'm all in favor of the approach.Card's homer, albeit a bigger Bear fan.

You forgot one thing from last year to this year, it's a different coach and Warner happens to fit his game plan system better!

If this coach uses a QBBC that means they have no QB. It's absurd.

However I would love to see Warner come off the mat and light it up. I was always a big fan of his.

exactly, as they say if you have two qbs you have no qbs. I don't disagree its bad for cards short term but it is a horrible choice long term. As a boldin owner though I won't complain

I would love to see Warner start in Week 5 at St. Louis. I doubt it will happen but that would be cool to watch Warner light up his old home field with Fitz, Boldin and Edge.
